Cute lego set to put together. You do have to download the lego app for the instructions. Does not come with paper instructions.

Rarest powerup becomes awesome toy
I was surprised, as with much of the Mario Lego collection, how much this can be *used*, not just displayed. It's an odd choice in a series that otherwise has stuck to iconic powerups for Mario--the Goomba's shoe is famously located in but one level of Super Mario Bros. 3. It required a bit of discussion with my little as to what this was, exactly. No Mario game in his lifetime had featured this. He loved it anyway.

Birthday hit!!
I bought this as a surprise birthday gift for my son and a few weeks after he saw it in the store and wanted it. Needless to say it was a hit!! Before buying this though make sure the child has one of the Lego Mario starter sets so that they can get the full enjoyment out of playing with this toy. It is really cool to add to the sets and see the worlds that they can create and get them off of the screens.

The value is ok. You must use the downloaded app for instructions. Typical lego quality. These expansion sets are a money sink but the kids love the add-ons.

It’s a Mario product, of course it’s awesome!!! My 9 year old loves the Lego Mario products and we can’t wait to buy more! He got this and two Lego Mario outfits for his birthday
