Refill for my General 81264 Gromet Tool Kit. I used it to create a reinforced hole in the floor mat for my car's "carpet hook". Done this several different times and it hold up just fine.I never experienced any issues with the thickness of the metal. Never needed grease or anything, just the tools in the kit.

Good quality, heavy metal. You do need a lot of force to install. I found it best to use the blacktop driveway with a metal hammer. A mallet just didn't work. Would recommend.

Easy to use with fabric.
