Mayar for Women by Lattafa – 100% Original
A beautiful, sweet and youthful fragrance — feminine, long-lasting, and authenticMayar by Lattafa is a charming and modern fragrance designed for women who love sweet, floral scents with a fruity twist. It opens with a burst of red berries and tropical fruits, followed by soft florals like jasmine and peony, and dries down to a warm base of vanilla and musk. The result is a playful yet elegant scent that feels both inviting and confident. This perfume is perfect for daily wear, dates, or casual outings, especially in spring and summer. Despite its affordable price, it performs really well — it lasts about 6–8 hours on skin and even longer on clothes, with moderate projection that leaves a pleasant trail. The bottle design is simple but elegant, and the packaging arrived sealed and intact, confirming that this is a 100% original Lattafa product.✔️ Pros:Sweet, fruity-floral scent that’s feminine and easy to wear.Great longevity and projection for the price.Genuine and well-presented product.❌ Cons:Might be too sweet for those who prefer fresh or citrusy scents.

Fruity
It has like a grapefruit smell, it’s actually not my favorite. I don’t love the scent but the bottle is pretty, maybe it will grow on me over time. I don’t know anything about notes etc it’s light and fruity is the best I can say.

Back In The Fragrance Game
I am an older woman whose fragrance hay-day was way back in the 80s and 90s. Back in the days before everyone became phobic about scents in the workplace and the artificial fixers many used began giving many people migraines. Back then I leaned toward Givenchy fragrances after my love for Shishido's Zen had faded. (I still have my bottles safely kept from those long-ago years!) Enter into my world Amarige and its flankers. To this day, I still love and get compliments when I spritz Amarige, what most now think of as my signature perfume. All this as background to my note preferences as I am an original hippie: I like woods, patchouli, and green mixed with intoxicating white florals way deep in the background. I'm not a sweet fragrance gal. And, when it comes to perfumes, you study and take time to know what works on your skin and personality and what doesn't. So, I admit when watching reviews how most now consider my preferences Old Lady Smelling, well it broke my heart! That cannot possibly true of all the fragrances now labeled: VINTAGE. So, I can only wonder if it's more about the individual's age and fragrance journey maturity?I'm so surprised, returning to the fragrance world by a few things:1) The crazy prices! Not high prices as they used to be back in my days of purchasing, but absolutely stupid pricing! Why do we have so many perfumers pricing their goods out of the average person's ability to enjoy? For prestige? Ego? Exclusivity? Marketing Stupidity? Who knows, but on the plus side, has given rise to another perfume industry- Quality Dupe perfumers!2) What's with everyone wishing to smell like FOOD?! Sure, some food smells are delicious and can add to a fragrance, things like brown sugar, cinnamon, etc, but I'm sorry, I just don't care to smell like cherry cola or cake! Along with that, the amount of SWEET in fragrances today? Way too headache producing and cloying to my noise. (I understand to each his or her own, but FOOD, really?)3)The ridiculous number of fragrances that seem to dry down to powder, especially problematic if one doesn't wish to smell like a powderpuff! Powder smells old to me and fusty!4) The incredible amount of perfumes released in any year is staggering! This leads to overspending, a chaos of choice, and to my mind, can impede one's fragrance journey which should be highly curated and exacting. If one does this, all those who truly know you, will smell a fragrance and say, "Oh, this really reminds me of (Fill in your name here,)!" You should be searching for the fragrance(s) that always leave Your Mark in the most delicious of ways. So, reviews have led me to the house of Lattafa for new fragrance to consider. If my Givenchy scents are now too vintage, I think I'll try a few of these because of their commitment to high end ingredients, good noses that blend them, and at a price that is more than reasonable. Mayar is absolutely a winner for me. Perhaps because it is considered a unisex fragrance, but still leaning feminine, it's absolutely what I want for our humid, high summer temps. It's that smell of clean which uplifts and lands with some flower, spice, and a lot of citrus for balance and freshness. This one is a big hit for this old girl! I hope this is one you will also enjoy. Good for daytime and casual evenings. When you need to feel the sea and fresh breezes it brings, put on Mayar and feel the joy of the ocean nearby. Thanks for listening to this Vintage Woman!

Plant Water
Blah..I bought this for my friend's birthday. We both love a variety of perfumes. We've been experiencing more with Lattafa & similar arabian brands. We've even tried some that are unisex. Each purchase is a Hit or Miss. Some brands, including Lattafa..we have multiple bottles of. Here & There..we take the risk on a "blind buy". Well, this "so called" fruit scent.. (I don't particularly purchase fruity scents, but she does. I lean more towards amber musk & vanilla notes)..She DISLIKES the most from Lattafa. Why? For starters, it doesn't last on her skin & quickly fades into a Nasty "Body Sweat Odor" or "dirty feet" scent. (That's how she described it lol)I screwed up big time!! However, I've ordered her something else that I know she likes.I decided that I would try it. It does smell "interesting" ..very different from what I like. I used it before heading out for work. It smells kinda "pretty" when first sprayed. The dry down? It was just "weird". I didn't smell any of the "notes" it described, except some Vetiver & Patchouli that lingered. Then it just disappeared after 2 hours. I couldn't even smell it on my uniform. It was gone! I tested it again with several sprays. I detected a smell of "plant water". Like, how potting soil smells when it's moist or you walk thru a nursery full of plants, flowers & herbs.Everyone's body chemistry is different.I don't know? It's not my thing! And, my friend doesn't like it at all. I won't be keeping it. There are no refunds or exchanges, of course. I will be donating. The bottle & packaging are cool looking! It was delivered quickly.
