Purchased 2 because price was so good for future because my ink was getting low. I just tried to install and the first one didn't work so opened up & tried the other one thinking first may have just not be good and neither one worked. Now I cannot return because its over the return date so instead of saving I am out the total cost. I did not realize it was not HP just thought it was on sale. Cannot recommend using if not HP.

Yellow cartridge not recognized by the pinter so the printer, an HP 8100, will not print. Had to buy a HP yellow - then the printer worked. The other cartridges seem to work.Revision:The problem WAS NOT with the yellow ink, but with the printer software or hardware so I cannot give the ink a bad rating. Perhaps a sensor failed or whatever absorbs waste ink filled up. After only a few pages, the HP printer stopped recognizing the HP brand yellow. I replaced it with the yellow I purchased that the printer had previously rejected, and it recognized it - for a few pages, then it stopped again and then did not recognize cyan and black as well as the yellow. I replaced ALL of the ink, and the printer worked and it printed a page, then, after a day of no use, again did not recognize black, yellow, and cyan when I went to print. The problem was NOT with your yellow ink - but apparently with the HP printer software, waste ink storage, or error sensors. It was a very old HP printer that worked well for many years with aftermarket ink, and it has apparently finally died.

I came to amazon after seeing my HP ink price rise to unexpected prices (sigh). After finding this ink package i decided to take a risk. I am happy to report that it fits my printer perfectly! For context i have an HP Office Jet Pro 8600, the trick is to not get impatient when trying to load the ink cartridge. slowly insert, and make sure it lines up - it should go in no problem. I dare say this product has twice as much ink in each cartridge!! Take it from a paralegal who prints from her printer....you wont regret this buy!

I purchased ink cartridges 8/24/25 and installed them 9/21/25 only to find out that the cartridges did not work. I tried removing and reinstalling them multiple times only to get the same error code on the printer "There is a problem with the printer or ink system" I know it's not the printer because the error code does not appear when I put the old cartridges back on.
