I purchased this screen to replace another of the same product. I rent an apartment with a balcony. The metal screen covering my door to the balcony was bent and unusable when I moved in. I purchased the initial screen so that I could have my door open but not have to deal with the bugs. I also appreciate that my cats can come and go as well, they love lying on the balcony during the day. The initial screen was very durable also, but my neighbor's dog shredded it on July 4th due to the fireworks scaring him. This was a large, young male boxer so the screen put up a good fight. After that one was destroyed, I ordered this second one and it has been installed since the day it was delivered.Included in the package are the screen, adhesive backed velcro, and instructions. I had the screen opened and ready to hang in minutes and once I had applied the velcro tape to the exterior of the door, it took less than 10 minutes to fully hang the screen. The magnets at the bottom work well and keep the screen closed while allowing easy access for the cats to come and go as they please.The only negative I would say is that the velcro tape may take off paint when removed, so if your exterior door jam is painted then a different option may be better.

The media could not be loaded. The product works perfectly. I already created a returning label and I decided to checkout one final time.When I used it , the magnet was not attracting each other, because it was too stiff leaving the magnets too far apart to connect. I re-adjusted it so it has 1 inch more on each sides so it is long enough to touch the magnets automatically when walk through.It will have about 2 inches at the top center not connected.

These are not quite as heavy duty as I would have liked. The magnets could be stronger to keep the mesh curtains closed and keep bugs out. The adhesive strips are fairly strong with the velcro, but the actual middle magnet connectors aren't great. The mesh is thick enough to keep bugs out. Overall, the look is fine and this seems to be a renter-friendly product. I don't think I would buy this again, though seeing as it's not quite the quality I was hoping for with the 'heavy-duty' title.

This product three years ago I think I need to buy a new one because the metal supposed to like bring the net together. They fell out so I guess every three years you have to like buy a new one, but it was very good purchase and the price is good. It kept out the flies and mosquitoes and all the bug you know that and it was a great bye. And it was the right size.

Update: sadly within 48 hours the dog ripped a hole in it. Dog is about 42lbs. Heeding class so pretty strong for her size. However all she did was put a hole in it. It did not come down. It did not warp. Just the hole. It also took her several incidents to make the hole that size. So I’m leaving the 5 stars. Hole wasn’t the product’s fault.My five stars are very conditional. It has only been up about 20 minutes. So it was very easy to install. The adhesive is strong. I do have a list of suggestions. 1. Use safety pins or clips to hold the opening closes as you install. It makes sure you don’t accidentally pull it open. 2. My house isn’t level so decide whether you are going to match level at the top or bottom. (For my house top is for pretty, bottom for function.) 3. Use tape to hold the curtain up while you adjust. That adhesive is strong. You are only getting one shot. 4.(optional) Draw a full outline of the curtain before you install so you can follow it. It’s easy to get a little off. 5. As you adhere the Velcro. Lift the top Velcro and smooth the underside, then lay it back down. If not you can accidentally lay down a ripple. 7. Only remove the adhesive a little at a time as you smooth it down. 8. (Also optional) When you put the Velcro on the curtain miter the corners. It just worked a little better for me.One thing that I chose not do but was in the instructions was to leave the 0.5cm gap. I didn’t want to leave any space for mosquitoes. So I takes the bottom.For 10$ the package was heavy. There aren’t any gaps in the magnets. The material seems decemt quality. I’ll update is anything changes. So far I’m quite happy.
