Never heard anything that size get so loud. Beautifully loud! Nicely machined it’s perfectly. Usually takes 3 or 4 days to get it down to where you can get a nice hum. But this bowl I tried it after getting it unwrapped first of all it’s beautiful. I just got the mallet around once and WOW! …It’s a meditation test for me and it PASSED. Bought for my granddaughter. That’ the first thing she goes for when she comes over.👍🏻

Wow! What a beautiful singing bowl set! I am SO HAPPY! The bowl is so unique as it is hammered, which is the original way of making the singing bowls. Each bowl has a very unique one of a kind look to it. Each bowl will be different, as they are all handmade. The pillow (which was found wrapped up inside of the bowl, if you don't see it right away) is so very beautiful and it is very well made and with nice material. The pillow is nice for displaying your bowl and for putting your bowl on the pillow as you play it it; or you can play the bowl in the palm of your hand, just making sure that your palm is flat and do not let your fingers touch around the bowl as it will mute and distort the sound. The mallet is made of nice and very sturdy wood, it has the the felted end for the "tapping" of the top edge of the bowl (felted as to not harm the bowl when tapping) and the other end is a wider continuation of the wood (for going around the he rim to make the bowl sing). It is a nice size as it fits nicely in the palm of the hand. It has such a beautiful, harmonious and enticing sound quality and it really works. When I am using the bowl, without the pillow, I can feel the vibrations from the bowl. When I am using the bowl, I use the "tapping" to get others attention, to signal a start, or a change of session and an end to a session. I use the "singing" of the bowl for mindfulness, meditation and harmonious vibrational energy. This would also be a great purchase for yoga, meditation, self awareness time and more. I am so very happy with my purchase. I highly reccomend this bowl!! I look forward to using it for many, many years to come! I then received another email making sure that I did in fact receive my bowl and making sure that I was happy with my purchase. In the email they sent me it included an attachment with information on how to use the bowl, how to take care of the bowl, the many uses for it, the intentions behind it , the history behind the bowl, gives you tips on uses and much more. I really appreciated their customer service and me not feeling like I am just another "sell" for them. I am SO very happy with my purchase. I have been wanting a singing bowl especially since I started getting into meditation. The price and reviews seemed to be really good on the Silent Mind so I decided to try it out. I did not really know what to expect as I have had absolutely no prior experience. The bowl arrived within in a day and came very neatly boxed and packaged. As soon as I unboxed it I tested out the tone by striking it with the wooden mallet. Very nice ringing tone but after several failed bit attempts to make it resonate I had to go find some YouTube videos to figure out how to do it. After several attempts I had relegated my thoughts to thinking I had received a dud. I kept trying and trying and nothing. I kept watching the videos and I just was not able to make it happen. Later that evening I made another attempt while I was doing my meditation. The first try immediately produced a very beautiful resonation and singing tone to the exact pitch of the mediation music that I had playing. It was a revelation of sorts and immediately my disappointment turned into joy. Now I can just pick it up and make it sing like a bird. From my observation the outer rim was a little bit rough when I unboxed it. There was a sharp edge that probably just needed to be worn down and polished out with all of the practice. I only gave it 4 stars because the finish and the paint job on the one I received was a bit lacking. The bowl is very beautiful and has a nice pleasing look to it but the quality of the paint is not very good. After a couple of uses the palm of my hand turned black from the paint on the bottom rubbing off. Overall I am happy with the purchase and I think the product is very good especially considering the price. This is a perfect entry level singing bowl with a few minor flaws. I can certainly recommend it to anyone like myself for a first time experience. The quality of the wooden ringer and the small decorative cushion seem to be really nice. Also I did find that using the cushion provided a slightly different tone than playing it in the palm of my hand.

I love my singing bowl! It is beautifully crafted with a gorgeous finish and creates amazing sounds. Definitely worth it.

At first I was thinking this was a little expensive especially since it was small. But when I received it and opened it, the first clue of quality was the packaging. Then when I saw how beautiful it was, and it came with the pillow and nice stick, I was impressed and felt it was worth the money. It rings so easily and the sound is just perfect. The sound lasts a long time as well. It creates such a beautiful atmosphere.
