My daughter who was 9yrs old weights 90lbs and used the XL. It was the perfect size.

Costume was well made. My granddaughter wore it at Halloween and doe play time dress up. Did not rip. Costume is on the thin side so may need to wear some tights under it.

Medium is size 6-8. It was a tad big on my 7 year old (57lbs).
