Great advent candle
This is lovely! Really tall and chunky so it looks great on the mantlepiece. Burns slowly so it’s really nice to have burning in the evening and it casts a good glow.

Hard to come buy advent pillar candles, I have a lovely holder and was struggling to find candles to fit, but this is gorgeous

This takes a long time to burn down.
We have an advent candle every year.First time with this brand.Lovely design and big and chunky but I was surprised how long it takes to burn down each day. More than a breakfast or supper. More like burning for all meals and then me burning it down each evening ready for the kids the next day…

Burns well and doesn't flicker
Like I said in the title, this candle burns well (about an hour and a half between days, so set your timer when lighting it), doesn't flicker, and doesn't drop black ash in the molten wax down the sides, meaning this candle is well made from good materials.

Buyer beware. Dangerous!!
Please beware if you buy this candle. I have bought Alison Gardiner advent candles before and had no problem. This one however I had lit today it was just between the '11' and '12' next time I looked about 10 minutes later the candle had just melted totally to the base. There was wax all over my furniture, my carpet everything. I just thank goodness no one was hurt. I still have to try and repair my carpet and furniture. Not what you want from a Christmas item!!

Festive advent candle
Bought for December I make a wish as I light each day. Also bought one for mother of different design. It burns a reasonably time frame when lit I’d say an hour.
