A good quality cork board

Very flimsy

This was perfect for what I needed it for and very lightweight.

It does the job for my daughter but it is very average at best for quality, the cork part is really thin and yes it will hold the pin in place but you will not want to reuse the same spot over times for the pin as it will just not grip the pin once a hole is made.The frame is slightly thicker than the cork so there is a gap between the wall and the back side of the cork. When pushing the pin through it actually goes through and pin into the wall at the back, we now put some cardboard behind it so it has something to push against (recycle the cardboard came with it).I don't like the eyelet came with the board for mounting it on the wall, it screw down onto the top of the frame, even if you screw it down closest to the wall side of the frame it is still 2-3mm away from the wall, a screw will want to pulls it tight against the wall and resulting in the bottom of the board peeling away from the wall as shown in my photo. No big deal as you just have to let the board just hang instead of fixed, a couple of double sided tape at the bottom to hold it against the wall etc.

This is a large cork noticeboard. It's much larger than my daughter thought it was going to be but she is stull happy with it.The frame is wood and the cork in the middle is quite thin but I have a smaller one and that has thin cork too.Its perfect for my daughter at university but I do think it's a little overpriced so I would shop around.
