I recently purchased the A-Premium Door Latch Lock Actuator for my 2017 Nissan Armada, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My driver’s side door lock had been acting up for months—it either wouldn’t lock or made a terrible clicking sound whenever I used the key fob. After some research, I decided to give this actuator a try, and it turned out to be the perfect solution.The part arrived well-packaged and looked solid right out of the box. Installation was straightforward; the fit was perfect, and the wiring matched the factory connections precisely. I’m not a professional mechanic, but with a few basic tools and a quick YouTube tutorial, I had it installed in about an hour.Since installing the new actuator, my door locks have been working flawlessly. The lock engages smoothly, and the annoying clicking noise is completely gone. I own a 2016 QX80 and this was the problem with the drivers side door. I usually try to do my own repairs, but this damn door would not open. I had to pay a body shop to get this door open once the lock actuator went bad (locked with the door closed). That being said, they replaced the old part with this part that I had purchased from Amazon. So far, it is working as it should and makes my wife a lot happier and not having to climb over the console to get to the drivers seat.

At almost $300 less than Nissan OE and faster arrival, I decided to take a chance with this actuator. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. While it looked New as it should, I already ran into two problems. First, one of the threads were stripped in order to install/bolt on the actuator to the door frame. Second was the noise when closing the door. When the striker engages onto the latch, it has a sharp metal-like clicking sound which the OE actuators don't.**** Update 1/5/2023 ****The replacement actuator arrived and I immediately went to install it. Unfortunately, these aftermarket pieces definitely doesn’t come close to OEM. This new, replacement actuator has the same sharp, metal-like clicking noise when the striker engages onto the latch. Also, another threaded insert was also stripped but in a different location. I definitely learned my lesson on this one trying to save a couple hundred dollars. Unfortunately, gotta stick with OEM on this one.

Works like a charm, good quality

to be honest I was a little bit nervous when purchasing this product not knowing what the quality was and I have to say the quality is very good and would definitely recommend this to others as a DIY type product.. the only thing I can say about the installation of this is that you need to know the basics of panel removing and replacement.. if you are unsure have some friends that are knowledgeable in working on vehicles including looking at some how to videos on YouTubeI would definitely buy again from this vendor and related productsproducts
