I have used quite a few hoof picks in my time.... I even have the larger version of this pick - however - this is my favorite by far. Why??? Super easy to hold, perfect size for medium or small hands and very grippy. The pick end is a little more narrow than the larger version, and it is sharp enough to remove the most packed, caked, baked dirt and debris from a horse's hoof. You can easily clean the collateral grooves and the central sulcus. Absolutely never knew that picking the hooves could be this easy and fast. Love it so much, I just ordered another, so I can always have one close at hand.

This is the best hoof pick I've ever used. And I've used a bunch! I figured what the heck, I'll give it a whirl and, I'll never use anything else.

I've had horses for 40 years. This is the ONLY hoofpick that makes it easy to get the tough clay-like mud out of my horses hooves. It is powerful so you need to be more careful not to gouge the horses hooves which could leave indentations for infection to grow. If used with reasonable care, there is simply no other hoofpick you'll ever want to use. Note: I need the small (Junior) size for my normal-sized woman hands!

I have finer bone build in my hands and a wrist that cracks any time I move it. This little guy is the best hoof pick ever. I'm not sore after using it, and it gets in those tiny spaces other picks miss.

I have the original Ultimate Hoof Pick and wanted the smaller one for smaller areas of the hoof, and for smaller hoofs. I am just as happy with the Jr and I am with the big one. I have tried other hoof picks that I didn't care for that much. These work really well on draft horse hooves.

This is by far the best hoof pick i have ever used. You wont find one better.
