What a brilliant piece of kit. Came ready assembled I took it straight out the box and was able to remove 4 foliage roots within 30 minutes with very little effort, most impressive, don’t compare this with a normal spade because they are worlds apart.

A must have for any dedicated gardener. I bought this upon the request of a family member who is a gardener - she is thrilled with it. It is amazing and makes it possible to dig the previously impossible - worth every penny. It is good and sturdy too so should stand the test of time.

I had a large shrub root to remove which had been in place around 20 years until I cut it down recently. The task was daunting and I bought the root slayer on the strength of the reviews. I’m glad I did. This thing makes easy work of slicing through small roots and even thicker ones with a few hits. I am very impressed with the weight and easy hold handle. Worth the money.

Good, strong product that helps to cut through roots when moving plants. There was one very large plant we wanted to get out and it took a long time to do that. Almost too much for the Root Slayer so don’t expect miracles.

Some early reviews wasn't so good for speedy delivery. However I got it withing a week. Sturdy really useful. I hate spades normally as I'm not very heavy and have always found it hard to get a spade into the ground. But l love using this. So much easier and faster. I had bamboo and this helps. It comfortable to use too. I'm only 5.2 foot my partner is 5.7 foot. Great hight for use. He loves it to and he has injuries from old motorcycles accident. Damage to hips,knee and ankle. In fact he's got me to order another one. And it's on its way within 2 days of ordering.Thanks guys

I did not think a lot of a radius digging fork I bought, but this is my favourite garden tool and has so many uses.I have not actually tried it to dig out tree roots, but I do use it for many tasks and no other tool can come near it.First, it is immensely strong - it has a resin coated steel shaft from head to toe. This makes it heavy of course, but you either get something that's light and breaks, or this! Don't be put off by reviewers who say you aren't meant to use it as a lever. Although it is true, that if you are cutting through big roots, then levering is not the right action, but it is more capable of hefty levering of stones etc than any other tool I have.My soil is chalky with a lot of heavy clay. After a dry summer I could not get anything through it. But this just cuts through like magic! The teeth and the shaped end are extremely sharp. It is also good if you need, say, to dig a hole to plant something in the middle of a border, because it cuts down deep but in a narrow radius. So it can be used as a blunderbus but is also good for precise work. It seems to clean well after a session of clay digging too.I like the radius handles, which look awkward but actually are better than D handles, and provide good grip and leverage. I also like the substantial foot plates which really help with pushing the shovel in.I recommend going on to you tube and searching for reviews of this tool. There is a good one by someone digging through frozen earth and so on.
