Excellent pen for work
I have used Fisher Space Pens for a number of years in my last job (police officer) and in my new job (security). They are small, smart and most importantly work. When closed they fit easily and discretely into a pocket and when open they are a nice size for writing. This space pen doesn't have a clip so something to be aware of as it will float to the bottom of a pocket rather than be hooked over the top. Reduces bulk but might not be for everyone. There are pens that are smoother out there but I haven't found anything else to be as reliable as a Space Pen and it writes on all types of surfaces. The only reason I have had to buy a new Space Pen is when I have lost one as they are nice and solid and perfect for an everyday pen.

Good pen could be better
Not as well packaged as the original (my other one was brought in 1977 and came in plastic storage box with refills) and tarnished when kept in zip pocket of note book. (Other one never tarnished despite constant use since purchase). Quality has dropped considerably and personally I think they are very overpriced. Still writes on all surfaces and in most conditions so for me more usefull than a standard Parker (I attend a lot of outdoor events and keep score at sports events in all weathers and conditions so need something that will write without fail). This is my third one of these, I like to have one in my pocket, bag and in my notebook so for me it was ok. Would be better and more value for money if the came with a couple of refills (as per original, which came with a red, and a blue refill so you had choice of 3 coloured inks.) This for me would be better as I need both red and blue inks for scoring. It's not the pen that's the issue, it's the brass outside. Newer ones are lower quality (skimping on cost presumably) I would prefer for the price something that does not tarnish in the 3 days between purchase and first use. Still it is interesting as now if I don't clean it every time I use it, it ends up with leopard spots of tarnish all over. Will buy again but not brass.

Excellent
Love this pen, fits in the pocket easily it’s brass so it’s not too light which I like, picks up a lot of character and patina and the refills seem to last forever

Very good pen
My Lamy Pico broke and I fancied a replacement but this one caught my eye, always wanted to try a Bullet Pen so it was a no-brainer. Ordered 9pm on a Thursday and it arrived 10am Friday. Excellent service from Amazon Prime as always. The pen is a great little writer, very comfortable and efficient. Prefer it to Lamy and usually I prefer pencil for my diary to minimize bleeding through the pages but this does the job wonderfully. I like brass finish of the pen and it is developing a nice patina already.Well priced and cheaper than I have seen it listed elsewhere.

Great product
Genuine Fisher Space Pen. I can't believe there are a handful of reviewers stating the pen is lower quality as it tarnishes - that is the whole point of brass, and I found it gives the pen an individuality, class and character. This is not noticeable in the pocket and writes surprisingly well. Fully justifies the price in my opinion.

Combined with a hydrophobic note pad and its a great combination for work.
In the 80's I'd always wanted the original Fisher Space Pen, but they were expensive. Factoring in inflation the 80's price would be around £280 now, so these are a relative bargain now.Anyhoo: I got this for work, as I work at sea on vessels supporting the Oil & Gas industry. I work in places where there is a lot of tropical rainfall and with equipment that can be greasy and oily, and regular pens and notepads are often problematic. This pen with its special pressurised ink cartridge with its thixotropic ink allows it to write in conditions that other pens just can't write in. This reduces frustration for me as I don't have to spend 20 seconds multiple times a day trying to get my pen to write.I got the brass bullet model, the last photo you can see the patina that quickly develops, it quickly loses its shiney brass look, but I like the dull used patina look.

Rubbish
RubbishLived with this rubbish pen since COVID only to discover I'm not the only person to have this rubbish production pen. The shaft is deformed so the nib sticks out a mile. Apparently it's got a lifetime guarantee so I hope I'll get a replacement!
