Feels like quality - smells like a dream!
I've had a beard for forty years. Never bothered much with grooming - just shook the dirt out mostly, washed it along with my head or my face. Well, things have changed for me now! Perhaps because there are more beards around now than 40 years ago, I felt compelled to look after mine rather better than previously. A little bit of research introduced me to the novelty of beard oil - who knew that was a thing? A little further reading suggested that beard shampoo would be a very good thing too - my little world was rocked. Not entirely convinced, I initially bought a lesser oil, shall we say. Credit where due, that product almost immediately made a difference to both feel and appearance of my unruly beard. The texture and the fragrance of the oil let it down however - and the "cedarwood" scent was inclined to fustiness and (thankfully as a result) did not persist. Back to research and Mr Nobleman's Premium product seemed to leap out at me - just read the reviews yourself. Now I can add mine to that list - this is excellent stuff, a rich lubricious oil with a few drops going a long way. It softens both beard and skin and permits a far greater level of grooming than I have ever previously experienced. I have gone from looking like a startled bog-brush to something at least partially domesticated. The fragrance of it is beautifully judged, fresh, clean and warm all at the same time. So not only does a little of this product go a long way, I have also stopped using as much eau d'cologne - brilliant! I have allied this with Mr Nobleman's Beard Shampoo - I heartily endorse the combination. Buy it, try it - you won't regret it!

Absorbs well, and is less oily than others I have used
Great product, which really softens beard hair. Doesn't really have much of a scent at all (as it does say fragrance free)....but also claims musky vanilla..... Tames a wild beard too.Rub the excess in your hair and comb... softens that too!

Best so far.
I've had a beard for nearly 5 years and always found a product what actually does everything. Normally after a 12 hour shift my beard is like a wire brush, but with this product it kept soft and smells really nice. I definitely be buying again.

Decent oil, terrible bottle design
It's a nice, decent oil for the beard. At first I wasn't the biggest fan of the smell but I've warmed to itIt seems to do a good job at taming my beard and conditioning it. It leaves a subtle shine on the beard too which I likeThe major problem is the bottle. It's terribly designed and cheap. It feels like it's made of plastic and has a dispenser pump top. It constantly leaks no matter what I do which is a major issueI've had to purchase a separate dropper bottle and transfer the oil to it, which is just ridiculous.

Great for what I need - not a daily use, but 4-5 times a week
So, I've had a beard continuously for the last 12 years and a number of times before that. I've tried dozens of different oils and conditioners. While I do not use this beard oil every day (and unless your beard is exactly like mine I wouldn't recommend using it every day), I do use it three-four times a week. On the weekends I use straight argon oil - which leaves my beard more like a crazy Carl Marx, but softens it tremendously - on the weekends. I've had great success with Biotique Bhringraj Fresh Growth Therapeutic Oil - which is also an amazing every day oil... however, this oil remains oily and will stain your shirt collars (if you wear a collared shirt and tie and your beard is long enough). So, what I've come down to is Percy's beard oil during the week on days when I have to wear a tie - usually four days a week, and the Bhringraj oil on Polo Shirt Fridays - with Argon oil on the weekends. If I use Percy more than that, my beard dries out a little too much for my taste. It never goes dry, but to keep it softest, more diversity is required. I'd love it if Percy used a bit more Argon in their mix, but if your beard tends toward craziness like mine, perhaps that's not very useful. So, for what I want this oil to do, it is perfect. The scent is slight, but nice - unlike a different lime scented oil (can't remember the brand) that made me smell like Pinesol. If you haven't found a good mix or routine, grab this oil. Try their other oils - and remember to not wash your beard on occasion - also, nothing better for your beard than animal fats - fried chicken! Can't use that routinely, will smell up the beard, but the oils are nice.Good luck - this beard fad will end at some point, but there's no need for you to struggle keeping your beard nice and soft. I was bearded when it was uncool, and will remain so - and will continue to buy Percy's - that said, why are you charging so damn much?

The very best!!!
I have had a beard for around 6 years and during this time I have used alot of cheaper beard oils. I have used bulldog, standard percy nobleman, loreal, and many other oils from amazon. This premium beard oil is the most expensive I have bought and I have to say it is worth the extra. While the scent is not my favourite the oil is thicker than standard percy and with the pipet I use less. My beard feels soft and the oil provides more control than other oils I have used. I love this stuff and after around 3 month I still have a little over half a bottle left with daily use. So its great value and lasts a very long time!
