Excellent build quality, function and value but why does this, and all manufacturers of similar products - insist on exaggerating their magnification? In this case by some 15 times. Imagine a car manufacturer claiming a fuel consumption of 750 mpg when the truth was nearer to 50 mpg.Using a simple test of viewing the scale of a rule, I reckon this lightweight aluminium and plastic device actually magnifies by THREE TIMES. In other words, looking through the lense, a 1mm gap appears the same size as 3mm on the rule in the flesh. That is a 3x Magnification. Not the stupidly crazy 45x claimed. That would border on the need to buy a microscope! What planet are they from?Actually, the magnifier itself states '40X - 25MM' (check the photos) but even this is an exaggeration of some 13 times.But for typical hand-held usage, 3x is perfectly adequate. The dual LED illumination is spot on too. And it looks professionalIt's good and it's Excellent Value.

This is the second one of these I have purchased, The first being liberated from me by my eldest son . this Item is exellent value for money. It has a very good lens. I use it mostly for looking at finds while metal detecting. It is very light and small and will fit in any pocket.This would of been a 5 star review but the light which is very bright by the way, flickers a bit on this one.I will definatly purchase this Item again in the future.

Excellent product.... very pleased with it. Appears to be doublet type lens of good quality, and the bright twin LED light sources switch on-off with a nice positive "click." The item arrived promptly and was well packaged. Also beautifully presented in a rigid plastic box., complete with a little tool to help gain access to the battery compartment. Altogether I am very impressed. Indeed, at less than £2.00 price paid, I am feeling somewhat guilty that I have not paid near enough money for the quality of product as received. Delivery was not speedy, but it was certainly worth the wait!I highly recommend this product, and the Tiny Deal Company that provided it. Moreover, it gives me pleasure to make this recommendation... (yeah!)

Fulfilled our needs - novelty for the kids to use to look at blades of grass and dirt and the like. Small, came in a neat little box, cheap but doesn't look like it will fall apart if not handled carefully, so exactly what we were looking for. Not using it to appraise diamonds (unfortunately!) and can't speak to its suitability for professional uses, but to be honest I don't think you'd get this if that was what you were doing - I think your budget would stretch considerably further! The light makes a big difference when you're trying to look at something teeny, so glad we went for this option.

Additional batteries displayed in picture were not present, and the delivery was very delayed, but in the current circumstances its understandable.

Disability handysize is tadpole magnifying glass you don't have to use it for jewellery you can use it if you had a splinter you could see the item but the quantity of it is very good

Really good value for money, in fact far too cheap as delivery from China should cost more than this. Mr Trump says this is destroying jobs in the West. Politics and Economics aside, this is a useful little gadget to see close up items but it does distort and sometimes a good old hand help magnifier is easier to use. The light plays up at times but for well under£2 give it a try.
