Can I use this to cover a photo (in a tin)?

Yes you certainly can :) Now I would suggest using a pre-sealant on them prior to applying the resin. Many papers and sometimes inks can off-gas and create bubbles in the resin as it cures. By creating this barrier with your pre-sealant it will help to prevent this from happening. We do not favor any one sealant so whatever you have on hand and are used to using is fine :)

Does any one know what the pot life is of the product is and also it’s viscosity. I would like to use it for impregnation some open grained wood. Than

The bottle says that when opened it should be used within 6 months. regarding viscosity best to go to the website and check. They have good demos of using the product. I think you may need to seal any wood first with some kind of clear primer.

Is this resin suitable for woodturning?
