Leak cured
We had a problem where the inflow in that it did not cut off the water completely. The water company contacted us, which I thought was brilliant of them. I checked overnight and found in 8.0 hours we we losing 91 litres. I traced it to the toilet in the spare room, and bought an outlet washer and a new filling valve. It was delivered the next day using prime and fitted an hour later.

Got 2 and neither work
After opting to buy the significantly more expensive and "higher quality" unit from Geberit, it was hugely disappointing that it never shut off the water even once. Amazon were great and replaced the unit straightaway and the second unit arrived out, I installed it and after a little bit of tinkering, I got it working but I always felt it was only a sneeze in the next room away from failing but after 6 weeks or so I thought - this is great, it's working. Then somebody must have sneezed as it just stopped again and wouldn't shut off the water. I'm lucky in that I can replace this myself, it's a pain but at least I don't need a plumber and don't have that expense every time. The unit is unnecessarily complicated for what should be a very simple task - if you can fit the older brass unit with the ball on an arm in your cistern - buy that, it will work and stay working. This won't...
