Egg cooker
I have nothing to dislike and 99.9% to like about this product. It boils eggs to perfection, I have tried hard, medium and soft. Perfect. I have also used 6 eggs or just one. Made no difference they came out tops. I haven't tried the omelette trays yet. I wanted a product to cook boiled eggs. Its perfect to use, no more standing over a hot stove and boiling water. I'm elderly so the stove method is dangerous for me. So proud of my new easy tool that doesn't fail me.

Perfect eggs every time.
I love eggs but they have to be exactly as I like them. Hard yolks or "snotty" whites are a definite NO for me, This little gadget is great, clean and simple to use. Boiled eggs came out perfect first time, just right for dipping toast or bread "soldiers". I usually make a mess of poaching eggs but this makes it easy every time. I have yet to try the omelette tray but as it poaches and boils eggs fine, there should be no problem with omelettes. Obviously it won't cook peas, onions or other veg you may put in but I like crunchy veg, it will melt cheese and heat cooked ham just like using a pan but without the mess. One point to note, I always read reviews before I buy anything and noticed a couple of people said the poaching tray or omelette pan melted, it was obvious to me that the egg boiling rack should be left in and the poaching and omelette tray should sit on top of it to keep them off of the hot plate but perhaps that should be made clearer in the instructions. Overall a very good and useful appliance. I recommend it if you want to take the hit and miss out of cooking eggs.

Decent Enough
It has become so overwhelming to choose something to buy on Amazon due to the invasion of non-reputable white label products that all look the same and offer low quality. Sellers just come up with a silly name and re-sell the same products as if they're a different brand and promote it on Amazon. Lakeland seems to be a genuine brand with history so I decided to buy from them. This product is also made in China but at least it is not white label, so you'll be dealing with proper customer service if you have a problem or complaint.I see people complaining with dark stains at the bottom after cooking eggs. This is perfectly normal and it happens to all egg cookers in the market because of dirty eggs and hard water in your area. If you don't want to deal with it, you can wash eggs before cooking (I can hear you say no), you can use bottled water (You get less stain but cannot prevent it completely), and add a little bit of white vinegar each time you cook eggs (best option). After all these, you'll still have stains but you can easily clean it if you leave white vinegar for about 1 hour, then clean it with dish soap and water. You get two black plastic trays to make omelettes: one tray with two divided sections and another regular one. The regular one can contain three large eggs max. I like the idea of having a transparent cover but I thought it was glass, not plastic. I'm not sure if it's healthy to have a plastic cover when inside can reach high temperatures caused by steam. It would be perfect if it was glass. This transparent cover gets steamy when you cook eggs inside so you can't see it clearly. However, if you add a little bit of white vinegar when you cook eggs, the cover remains clear so you can see inside if that matters to you.Overall, it's a good product from a well-known brand, not from a random seller trying to re-sell you a generic custom labelled product.

Feedback on the electric egg boiler.
I just got one of these last week and used it for the first time this morning.Instructions were clear and concise. I was pleased with the overall product and it was easy to use. It did exactly what it said in the instructions. Two perfectly soft boiled eggs. The product was easy to clean afterwards.I will be having eggs much more often now.I love it.

Stopped working after about six uses
Very easy to use, cute.smaller than expected (I didn't really look at dimensions) just in terms of what it could do.perfct boiled eggs.the omelette tray meant you could make a fluffy thick round small in perimeter omelette.the trays were plastic I didn't expect that but can't remember what I'd read in description.but it stopped working after around six uses.i took very good care of it cleaning it thoroughly between uses as you really need to, the base(where you put the water) gets disgusting during steaming so I cleaned it every single time I used it. It's a shame.it wasn't cheap

My second purchase of this item, first one faulty.
This is the second one of this model l have bought. The original worked fine but after three uses the switch failed. I returned it and bought a different make but returned that unused, as instructions explained it turned its self on again if left unattended.I re ordered the Lakeland model, as it’s far superiors and as long as the switch doesn't fail again, lm happy.

Easy to use
I am mostly guided by reviews. This little egg cooker was a very surprising performance for me. As I got it, I washed it and followed the directions to cook 3 XL eggs (hard-boiled), even though the instructions say medium eggs. My eggs cooked well in no time and they were exactly how I wanted them. I must always try to keep eggs out at room temp. now, as I am used to keeping them refridgerated. PERFECT!
