Easy to handle.
I used these many years ago when I was a teacher which is why I bought one again theyare sturdy and well made

Superb for sorting small bits.
These are very lightweight and appear flimsy. But they're not. They can be lifted by the sides without any deformation and are first rate for the storage of small parts, such as Lego creations.The tray is divided into compartments, and those have sloping sides, making it simple to extract parts for use. There are three sizes of compartments, and the finish is a non-shiny yellow, making visual identification very simple.This is a first rate product and ideal for storing all manner of things young children (and older adults) use.

Disappointingly poor quality
I have a lot of Learning Resources products which are very good quality so had no hesitation in ordering this sorting tray.What a disappointment. It's smaller than I expected and incredibly flimsy. I've got better quality containers that food has come in from the supermarket.It already had 2 splits in it when it arrived so has been sent straight back.For a quarter of the price I'd have thought it was good enough quality, but not what I expected for the price paid.

Poor quality
When the item arrived in the box, there was already a tiny crack, it was sent loose without any cover, in a massive box. Very light weight, poor quality. For the money spent I expected somehing better. Since it's going to be handle by a small child and meant to be used for educational proposes the quality is not what I expected.

Thin plastic
Image used on listing is misleading. It’s very thin plastic - reminded me of plant pot plastic. Won’t survive being played with by kids.

My 4 year old loves sorting everything & anything & this tray which I bought with some colourful counting bears is a very useful tool. We've had it coming to a year & he's still using it.Well made. Highly recommend.

excellent large sorting tray
Not quite as sturdy as I had expected but unless dropped onto a hard floor it will be fine. Each compartment is an excellent size, in fact, the tray is larger than I anticipated. I really like that the tray is quite deep so beads, for example, won't just roll over the edge into the next compartment.
