These are so easy to place and manuever. I did not use the velcro to attach for my situation it wasn't needed. I ordered a second one after the first one worked out so well. I love they can be washed will update when I do. I really purchased for cold drafts, but keeping them up for the heat too. Like why not.

The tape attaches to the door easily and stays in place.The draft stopper stays on the tape when you open and close the door.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this 38" weighted door draft stopper. I have other draft stoppers, but this is by far the best. I read a suggestion in another review and it's made this draft stopper phenomenal.I have metal in my front door, so I opened the zipper compartment on this draft stopper and put magnets inside. The draft stopper stays right up against my front door and I feel no more air coming in. It's made a HUGE difference. I left the Velcro in the box. Much easier to deal with magnets than with having to attach & detach this to Velcro every time anyone uses the door.Thanks to the person who suggested using magnets. Definite game changer!

I thought this would be heavier. Very pretty, nice and long, but not terribly heavy. I do not want to use the velcro - would have to put this on the door - no thank you.

Bought this draft blocker to hopefully keep mice out of my apartment. It's sturdy and of a heavier weight than the usual little strip blockers that slide on under the door. I got one that's a little bit bigger than my doorframe so that it fully covers both sides of the door.The only issue I had was with the velcro that you put on the door to hold the blocker to the door. My door is a textured wood door, so the velcro did not want to stick. It had kinks in it from where it had been bundled up, so it wouldn't lay flat against the door. When it came off the door, it peeled some of the finish off as well. I ended up going to Mart of Walls and getting some smaller strips of velcro to attach to the door. That seems to have done the trick because now the draft blocker sticks fine to the door.
