I am in love with almost all of Yair Emanuel's designs (the Jerusalem motifs aren't my cup of tea, but still nice). In addition to his kippot and talit, his candlesticks, kiddish cups, Havdallah sets, etc. are remarkably elegant modern designs.This one is no exception. The embroidery is a tactile delight, silken and dense. I wouldn't call it an oriental motif so much as a floral motif. The blue is a tad paler than the picture, which suits me; I was looking for something close to white for Yom Kippur.One note: this kippah is a bit larger than his others (for example this one: https://www.amazon.com/Yair-Emanuel-Flower-Design-Embroidered/dp/B00B2MB5A4/). It still conforms to the shape of my head, so it's not a drawback.Silver clips suit it nicely, but I may look for some white ones.

Exactly as I'd expected, except that it's more sturdy. It requires a couple of clips to stay on.
