Where's Wally? The Incredible Paper Chase

This is the latest Wally book - great as my children already have all the others. This one is a bit different beacuse as well as the normal pages where you have to find Wally, Wenda, Odlaw etc and the extra stuff listed at the back you also get two activities.The first is a thin cardboard fold out jungle game with push out game pieces and "wally cards" which you have to take if you land on paricular squares and is located half way through. It is a basic dice and move game with forfeits or rewards for landing on certain squares - my son liked the game but not the Wally cards - they make you say tongue twisters which he found difficult to read quickly (as would many under 7's I think) but you don't need the cards to play the game.The second activity is at the back of the book and is just for fun. It is a push out thin card circus - you get audience pieces and performer pieces some with slits so you can move them e.g. a person to slide into the human cannon so you can blast him out. There is also an envelope glued to the inside back cover so you can store your pieces - very useful. However, this game probably appeals to younger children.MY son enjoyed the book - you don't get so many ordinary Wally pages and the games will probably appeal to younger children (under 10) so some older Wally fans may not enjoy this book so much - but it was great for my 7 year old and felt more like a bigger gift than just a book because of the extra fun activities.

My son loves the Where's Wally series of book. Loads of little things to spot on each scene, along with the proper items and characters, plus the special section at the back.

It should be clearer that this is the tiny version of the book.. daughter still like it

I ordered the cheapest one, the paperback version, OK. But they never specified that it would be small.Like VERY SMALL. TINY. The book had a lense but honestly, it is just so small that it lost the sense, since it is a searching game.I am very disappointed...

I was a little disappointed on receiving this as i had not realiseed that it was a mini sized book. My son had wanted the normal sized book to add to his collection.On re-checking the description it does say on the product detail further down the page that it is mini sized but I feel it should have said this in the main despription at the top of the page.Book itself is ok but will not get used as much as the larger one would have.

Good fun plenty of games to play with the children

CON. The product is advertised as 31 cm just like the rest of the wally books.As you can see cleary not.Even a pucture displaying size which is false n is false advertising in my eyes.

Smaller than I realised, so about to purchase the big one instead. My 5 year old loves all of them and is some sort of genius at finding wally! I'm useless - I'll be there for ages, but he can pick him out in seconds!Brilliant books but would fly recommend the full size instead of the mini versions :)
