wired to wireless loving sound, volume and fingertip control
I've been using isotunes pro 2.0 for about 3 years now and decided to try the wireless free 2.0 and they are an awesome so far. Mainly used for lawncare. I had the isotunes pro 2.0 and am very satisfied with both. This is hearing protection and plenty loud enough to jam out during cutting or sawing. The equalizer through spotify allows for an impeccable sound and finger tip control. It is early as i just got the free 2.0 but I am very pleased thus far. I look forward to long hours with the free 2.0 to see if they give a true full day

Know The Actual Purpose For These!!!
Know The Actual Purpose For These!!!(Long Rant Then My Review)I've seen so many reviews about these that say "they're too quiet" or "not loud enough"Well, it is true that these are quiet. That's for a reason! These are for protecting your hearing! Why do you buy ear protection? To protect your ears by lowering the noise levels of your surroundings in a work or loud environment. Right? So why would you use ear protection to lower the noise levels and then want to crank your music back up to those unsafe levels!?!People think that earbuds are completely safe and can't damage hearing. WRONG! They may not be loud, but they are pushing the sound waves directly into your ear. This allows them to produce unsafe sound levels just like most other audio devices. All that being said, yes these are quieter than most other earbuds, but that is for a reason. These are hearing protection! If you want loud earbuds look at ones that are just that, EARBUDS! NOT hearing protection. You put these in and they cut the ambient sound levels by 22dB and give you the convenience of being able to listen to music or whatever. Again, why cut the sound levels by that 22dB then expect to be able to bring your music back up past that level? At that point you are subjecting your ears to the same damage as if you were to not wear them at all! These are for the job and for people doing work! Now for my review of these when used for their actual intended purpose. If you're tired of using plain old ear plugs when working in a loud environment and are tired of hearing your own breathing, heartbeat etc, check these out.I use mine for lawn work, metal fab, wood working and other loud activities. These have worked great so far. They do a great job at cutting down the sound from my large mower (John Deere X758) my table saw, grinders and other tools. They do have very good sound quality even at the lower volume level they produce. I can clearly hear all my music, but as said before, you can't blast these things.Take some time to try out the difference foam earplugs/earpieces to find the best fit. Squish them down with your fingers them push them into your ears and hold them there while the foam re-expands. Do this with the earplug/earpiece attached to the unit, don't just shove the foam plug in your ear by itself... This will help them completely or nearly completely seal in the ear. Try them without any loud noise and you'll hear the sound quality these really have. They do come with 3 sets of foam earplugs/earpieces (these are for protection) They also come with 3 pairs of regular silicone earpieces (these can be used just for listening, not for protection)The battery life is great. I've gotten over 9 hours out of these once or twice, but on average 6-7. The case they come with is very nice. It also charges up and can recharge the earbuds about 3 times. You can actually get some good distance with these. My old ear protection was the 3M Worktunes and I could only get 10-15 feet away from my phone at best (this was fine for me though) With these Isotunes I can get over 30 feet away sometimes, this seems to be dependent on the streaming device being used. The "noise canceling microphone" used for phone calls is not very good though. Pretty bad actually, so if you need these for making calls while mowing the lawn or running a grinder... Not so good. I don't take calls while I'm working so this was of no issue for me.Take some time to read the very basic manual to figure out the buttons. Yes the have control buttons. The whole center section of these is a button, the left has its own function controls and the right as well. Just sit down with the manual and try out these buttons and functions BEFORE trying to use them while working. This is not a safety issue, more of a tip to keep you from getting frustrated with them. It took me less than 15 minutes and I had all the controls figured out.Overall these have been working great.Just know what these are actually supposed to be used for and you'll be happy with them.

Sound trough feature these don’t have it.
Ok so mistake on my part. I purchased these because having a mic I was thinking they allowed sound trough at a lower level like my 3m do. These are excellent and the sound quality is actually pretty close to normal headphones in terms of sound range for music lots of base actually. However I will have to return them and spend more money on the upper model that allows sound so you can hear coworkers. If you work alone and don’t need to be aware of others or able to hear them this will work perfectly for you.

ISOtunes Free 2.0 True Wireless Earbuds - Hearing Protection
I am required to wear hearing protection at my workplace. I have tried several types / brands of bluetooth enabled hearing protection. I like each type I have tried, but by far these are my favorite as there are no wires to catch on anything while I am working.Another set I have has the wire that goes around your neck, but I had a tendency to catch the wires at times due to working around machinery or with my hands etc when performing work duties.I have a set of ISOtunes earmuff style hearing protection with bluetooth. They have great sound, durability and range from your phone / bluetooth device, but due to the size I tend to bump into things when working on machinery. They are also much hotter in the summer weather (NO AC at work) and also tend to get somewhat uncomfortable over time as they are held on your head with a slight squeeze like pressure. This tends to push some on the ear lobes too.The ISOtunes Free 2.0 is so much better in terms of comfort. They are like using a typical push in type hearing protection plug and fit snug into the ear canal. There a re a variety of plug tips that come with the earbuds so just about anyone should be able to get the right fit. The range from your phone / bluetooth device with these is surprisingly good considering they are just a tiny earbud. I can walk about as far away with these from my phone as I can with the earmuff ISOtunes set I have (About 50 or so feet).I have read other reviews about some folks complaining the sound is not loud enough, but I have had no issues for the most part. I work in a noisy environment and can hear mine good enough to listen to podcasts. If you work in an area where the noise level is so loud you could not hear anything form these, it might be a wise idea to wear protective earmuff over top of these anyway to protect your hearing. If you are used to wearing earplug type hearing protection, you will enjoy the comfort of these as well as the sound quality. Sound is pretty good for such a tiny earbud.Battery life is better than expected too. I listen to podcasts, not music, so there may not be as much drain on the batteries when using them. They will get me through an 8 hour shift without having to place them into the charging case. The battery in the charging case has always lasted my a 5 day work week on a charge. This being my second ISOtunes bluetooth device, I will say I am impressed with their quality so far. I have had this set now for about 6 months and have not had any issues so far. I would definitely recommend these for anyone needing hearing protection and would like to be able to listen to music or podcasts from their phone / device.
