is this adapter capable for 144hz?

The farthest I could get this cable to go was 120hz (still working fine today). BUT I had to use two programs. The programs were Custom Resolution Utility and AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher. Before that, Windows said that it was locked at 60hz, even though my monitor could go up to 144hz.

does this come in 6 foot long version?
