DECKY Men's Bucket Hat

Finally a hat I can live with. I ordered two others of the same type and kept this one. It is well constructed and I like the material and color. It's a tiny big large but I know it will shrink a little with washing. I can shape the brim if I want which is nice. My only complaint is that I would like a contrasting band on the hat. A different colored band would make the hat really look smart and it would earn five stars!

DECKY is the BEST of all the bucket hats! hands down!I was so shocked to see the negative reviews of people who complained about the stiffness! Deckys are like Levis they only get better with age! Thats what makes them so GOOD!you can wash them and wear them & they last forever looking cooler!I was so excited to find these TRUE AUTHENTIC Deckys.. i had to get one of every color. they make a great summer hatso many army-surplus stores sell these cheap flimsy cheap sad excuse of a bucket hat (you can't even turn up the brim without seeing the interfacing)Deckys are synonymous with QUALITY.very versatile .. i love to wear them turned up like a porkpie hat. when my son outgrew his small size i discovered even the small looks very hip worn at the back of my head like a fascinatori was also surprised at negative reviews concerning the size.. first of all the true deckys are all sold/fulfilled by amazon so why didn't they exchange them for the correct size?2nd of all there is no size chart on the decky hat page so who know where they came up with this anyway. i have a 23' head and the Lg/XLg fits a bit loose which is ok for adapting under ponytails etc also to allow for shrinkage after washing.the color of the royal blue Decky is not like the picture!!! if you want to know what the real color is (of the Royal blue) look at the color of the navy blue Decky. I already have a blue Decky and wanted to order a different shade of blue so i held my hat right next to the picture and it was the exact same color of the navy...(so i ordered the royal).. When the new hat came it was the royal after all! The picture shows it as more of a larkspur blue... (for those who care)..nevertheless..all Deckys rock whatever the color!

Last year I purchased the Decky fisherman's Hat, NAVY, in Small/Medium. It was lined in a light (near-white) lightweight fabric, and the tag says: Style 450, Made In Viet Nam. It fit perfectly, and was in ideal proportion. I have since tried to purchase the same hat in BLACK with no luck. The one sent is a little bit smaller/tighter; had no such lining; the "band" is 1" wide-- a quarter inch wider than the one on my navy hat; and the stove-pipe part of the hat is another quarter inch taller, making for a ridiculously tall and out-of-proportion hat. Oh-- and it was also made in... Philippines, I believe.I suppose if you were going to dress as a pilgrim for Halloween (or Thanksgiving), then this hat would be perfect! But to wear this in public with a straight face would only invite stares and laughter.Decky needs to figure out what went wrong with the pattern when they switched factories. "Style 450" used to be a nice, in-proportion hat. I don't know what style # they sent in black (there was no style #), but for the entire hat to be cut narrower, and be a half-inch taller has really thrown this thing off. If anyone knows where I can find a better-fitting bucket hat in black, please do tell.

DECKYS are hands down the best of all the bucket hats... they are alot like levis... stiff at first but the more you wear it the better it gets.I was so happy to find these on Amazon!!! most surplus store seem to carry the cheap flimsy kind !!I also like to flip the brim up and give it a kind of porkpie vibe.very easy to wash too!

Very happy with the hat, but the size was too large. Would be nice if it came in sizes S, M, L, XL rather than S/M and L/XL.Do you have a suggestion for a good fit?

Sizing is all over the place ! Xl is too large! Might fiit a linebacker. and sm is fits like something for a kid! Size med is non-existent!

This hat fits perfectly no issues with size which means alot when you have a large head lol, a real big guy product and a real nice assortment of colors for the price you can't beat it I already have 3 and i'm buying 2 more.

After a hot wash to pre-shrink before wearing. It fit like a glove, I plan on getting more colors soon.

Dicen que los sombreros Decky son como Levi's: sólo mejoran con el tiempo y después de unos meses de uso no dudo esto, el color sigue tan brillante como cuando lo recibí, la tela es de muy buena calidad, ajusta bien, se ve bien y está muy bien hecho. Ahora que lo he recibido y ver lo bien fabricado que está no dudaría en pedir más colores.

I got one in grey and one in desert digital, both in L/XL. The grey one seems fairly true to size but it kind of stands weirdly tall. The camo one is giganormous. If I had to assign sizes I'd say the grey is a XL and the camo is 2XL. Otherwise they seem to be excellent quality.

Me gusto mucho el sombrero, desafortunadamente maneja dos especificaciones de medida pero no indica en centimetros o pulgadas el tamaño. En mi caso lo compre en talla grande y pues me quedó muy grande. Me hubiera gustado poder consultar la talla de forma adecuada.Por otra parte, el sombrero me gusto mucho y seguramente compraré algún otro más adelante, esta vez en talla pequeña.

lo tengo hace tiempo y es muy buen gorro solo se decolora por el sol pero si lo pintas queda como nuevo
