What are the ingredients?

That is proprietary information, you understand, I'm sure. The best you'll get off that label is Salt, Garlic, Paprika and other spices. Oh, and no MSG.I have been using PP's Magic Blend Seasonings for over 30 years. And I gave up trying to guess and just buy the large containers and let Paul keep his secrets, and my money. If you are in doubt, buy a small sampler of 3.5oz bottles on Amazon.com and see if you like them before you invest in the large containers. Personally, I have 24oz containers of Meat Magic, Seafood Magic, and Poultry Magic in my spice cabinet at all times.You can find (most) everything of Paul's right here, at very competitive prices.

Does this contain sugar or salt?

According to the ingredients on the canister, it says it contains salt, spices, dehydrated garlic, paprika, and dehydrated onion. All natural, no MSG, no preservatives, and gluten free.

What spices are in the “spices” or does anyone know if this actual msg free? Labels can be misleading.

The back of the canister states- No MSG,No preservatives and gluten free. Going by other recipes the spices are most likely paprika,cayenne pepper, black pepper. I do know there is lavender buds which gives it the best flavor!
