Love fresh pineapple but can't be bothered with the hassle of peeling one? Buy this! It peels, cores and slices in one. It's so quick and easy to use that even Mrs H (who is normally extremely cynical of 'unnecessary gadgets') agrees it's money well spent. It also looks and feels sturdy and is easy to clean.

Admittedly I have only used this once, so maybe practice makes perfect, but I found it very difficult to both turn and to keep it central on the core.I'm male, with strong hands, and still found it very very difficult to turn, which makes it even more difficult to maintain its central position on the core.Having said that, it does produce the desired effect on slicing the Pineapple, until it protrudes through the side due to not being central. As I said, maybe it gets easier with practice, but the first try left me unimpressed.Supplementary to the Review:I have now worked out that the product works fine, and the problems are laid firmly at the feet of the operator! Now that I'm not pushing down so firmly, the device works perfectly!

Fantastic was a bit worried as to weather the product would work before it arrived but no need to worry once delivered. it took hardly any effort to use at all, just had to place the item on top of the pineapple and turn once through to the bottom just pull out the ringed pineapple. will be a lot healthier and cheaper than buying tinned pineapple. well worth the purchase But customer service from the company that produce the product stinks

It does do the job BUT its only meant for a normal sized pineapple and not the super duper size ones I normally buy from Costco! I bought a normal size one from a supermarket and the "Magikuchen" did the job really well and easily. I love my kitchen aids because anything that helps with my increasing 71 years must be good.

I bought this as I was sick of buying the pre-packaged pineapple for £4 from Costco. The item is sharp, works great and cleans great. It's been perfect so far. I can't recommend it enough.

I bought this product in March 2018 after having a plastic one for 10 years, then it cracked and didn't work. SO! I thought a stainless steel one would be far superior. 😂😂😂 How wrong I was! Don't get me wrong, it worked superbly until June 2018, then the bottom/blade just fell off! (welding failed 🤔😕) Completely useless now! So brilliant for 3 months or so, plastic one brilliant for 10 years 😲 sent a complaint, no reply from seller or Amazon, hence the review.

This gadget is a must have for the kitchen. I only wished I had owned one of these earlier. Now I can purchase fresh pineapple rather than the tinned product knowing that it will be a breeze to prepare pineapple easily. This is one of the best products out there in my humble opinion. It is well made and of good quality. I highly recommend it.

Poorly welded product (hopefully it was just a faulty batch)1st time using it the spiral cutter broke away from the pole. Notice it was poorly welded. It was a shame because the stainless steel material looks sturdy and should had lasted a long time! I tried contacting the manufacturer and they were supposed to sent a replacement but never did!
