Yes. It comes with Minnie, Mickey, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and Wheezelene

This is not an amazon exclusive as it is available at local target for cheaper. So question is one why say exclusive and two why is it more expensive?

The one sold at Target comes with less character figures. The “exclusive” part is the additional characters/accessories.

How do you get the back door to stay closed?

Ours stays closed. Everything but the characters fits inside the compartment with the row boat. You could probably fit one or two in but not all.
