The Björk Carpet made of wool was created by the Swedish designer Lena Bergström for the Design House Stockholm in 2011. Source of inspiration for the Björk Carpet Collection was the in Sweden omnipresent birch tree and its expressive black and white surface structure, which is mirrored in each Björk Carpet. The brown, soft leather rim of the Björk Carpet represents the birch tree's bark. Natural materials and colours are the main attributes of the Björk Wool Carpets, which are not only wonderfully integrated into a modern atmosphere, but actually into any furnishing style, especially in combination with wood.
