Brothers gift
Perfect gift for my brother. He gets wood for a living and he says it’s fast and effective. Way better than a hand peeler.

Very poor quality
Very poor quality!!! Bought this to install on ms 250 saw there is not a hole for the tension adjustment to go. So it will not bolt up!! Should have boxed it back up and sent it back then but no I had to try to get it to work lol. Drilled a hole for the adjuster to slide in and got it to fit up then realized that the back nut was not going to be on the flat part of the mounting arm so made a angled washer so the nut would fit flat on the mount and then found the belts they had supplied were to long ! Wish I had just returned it but since I drilled a hole in it I’m stuck with a absolute pc of trash.. don’t waste your money on this ( hopefully with a shorter belt I can get some work out of it)

Belts did not work for my Stihl ms170
The belts that came with it are too long and did not work for my ms170, but I got a smaller one from auto zone. It work great after I put the smaller belt on.

Works great
Works great. Mine came with carbide tipped blades. My ms 270 spins it nicely. Could use some washer shims on the drum sprocket, i might add them myself. Overall cuts great, let's see how long the bearings last

Impressive debarking tool and easy to connect to your saw
This is about 5 minutes on a 2 foot diameter log. It takes practice to get it to a smooth finish but not much. This one's a keeper.

Works great, easy to assemble
Simple to use, works great for distressing logs but not thick bark removal. Still a very useful tool for me.

Log debarker
The two Bill pulleys that come with it only has one bearing. Do I have to change it out from other one or is it just missing?I can’t imagine having to share one very

Sawmill helper
I have a sawmill and I use it to clean the bark and sand off before I make my cut. It's amazing and very well made.

Not worth the money
This product is not worth the money. I bought extra an MS170 in reference to the manual. And the tool snapped on the first tree I worked on when I hit a knot. The material is diecast obviously not strong enough for this application. As well the belt is too long for the MS170. The hind nut sits on the angle of the mounting arm. Most certainly not made for pine trees.

great debarker
i have been cutting walk ways around my property and there are hundreds of small stumps to get rid of. this unit made short work of most of them. the blades got dull quickly but then it was chewing through dirt as well so not fair to the purpose of the machine. light, easy to use, the 170 powers it nicely. easy set up and use. i do wish there was a blade head guard for it for transportation. excellent design.

second time i used it blew apart !
i disliked that it is constructed from white metal and it blew apart the second time i used it.so i ordered one made of steel and it works fine.
