They work, and are much much faster than wire nuts
Installed twenty of these on 14 gauge low voltage lighting wire. Out of 20 I had one that I had to redo but they are reusable unlike waterproof wire nuts and that one was early in the install learning curve. Just take care to give a light tug on the wires from the lighting fixture before calling it good. Operating for about a month now with no issue. They're more secure and vastly easier than the process for wire nuts. You do have to apply some force when seating the feed wire before tightening down the two larger nuts or the nut will skip threads. The smaller side for the wires coming from the light are not really water proof at all but for my installation this should not be an issue as the wire is secured under the bottom of a fence rail. To be clear, they won't short unless literally submerged but water could easily access the metal to metal connection and cause corrosion. The light fixture connection side also seems more designed for loose stranded wire, my lights came with tinned wires which is better for wire nuts but made installing these a bit more difficult but still not worth cutting and stripping back to untinned. All in all, aside from some sore fingers from tightening all the connection nuts these were a huge time saver and made for a very tidy install. Time will tell if the potential corrosion issue I mentioned will cause any connection failures. I do have one connection out of the 20 buried so that will surely go first.

These are the best connectors, no question about it
Cuts the time for installation and wiring by 1/2 when compared with other connectors and by 90% vs. wire nuts. The beauty of connectors is that you don’t have to cut the cable and use wire nuts because when you lose one of these wire nuts, all lights that comes after that one loose connection are lost and good luck trying to find the problem on an old installation. Also if you decide to move a light, all you do is remove the connectors and the cable jacket closes back on the wire like nothing was there before. Well these connectors are ten times better than whatever is out there and I am not even going to mention the fact that you only need one per light. The fact that main cable part is designed where the threaded piece doesn’t have the cable in it, allows you to put the cable in the main part then screw on the two covers without twisting the cable. The best method to use these is to 1) put one of the light wires in one end and screw it by rotating the main peace and holding that wire in your hand with the end piece so again you don’t twist that wore. 2) reverse twist the second light wire 4-5 turns and then screw or on the main piece so as you screw it on, the reverse twist gets turned Abe when you are done, that wire is twisted once or twice only. 3) insurer the main piece into the separated main cable and twist the two ends into it and your lights will come on 10 times out of 10. Idiot proof, lasts for ever, and 0 fail rate makes this worth every penny, especially when you can connects two lights in the same connectors if you are lucky enough have enough cable from the lights

They were easy to use but not sure how watertight they will be. Shall see in time.
