These lead fillers are awesome. I love their subtleness and you can use them lightly, or you can apply some pressure and darken them up. I bought two orders of the multi-colored ones. That is what I recommend

I have been using Staedtler Mars pencils for 45+ years - they are the best pencil out there. and these leads are 2nd to none. great service and the free gift was a nice surprise.

Im always happy with Staedtler leads. One of these days I'll try one of their pencils. Meanwhile they fit perfectly in the Bertol and the rOtring pencils that I have.

Great lead. Fits the Mars pencils perfectly. If you do construction this is a must have.

I use the 2mm lead because I don’t like regular pencils and I find these to be great for what I’m using them for, which is note-taking, sketching and diagrams. I use the Staetdler pointer for 2mm lead and found that the red and blue lead breaks nearly every time I try to sharpen them. Basically I’ve ruined almost all of those two colors, no matter how gently I’ve tried. They don’t break when using the pointer on top of my lead holder, just with the pointer that produces a fine point.
