It's All In The Fit
I suffer from edema on my right foot and ankle. My doctor recommended Sigvaris, including the type and size of my foot. I wear an 8-1/2 and ordered shoe size G, 15-20 mmHg. There is a chart on the back of the box. I was instructed to wear the stockings first thing in the morning. There is less or zero swelling when I first get up. The less swelling, the easier the fit. The box has directions (with pictures) describing how to place the stockings using the enclosed glove. Once I got used to positioning the glove, I found I no longer needed it. The compression is comfortable and no swelling throughout the day and night. I waited one month before writing this review. I just received a second pair in a different shade (both are open-toe.) I am ordering a third pair, closed-toe in a different shade. I am very happy with my purchases and highly recommend this compression stocking.

Love them!
Just lowered the compression from 20-30 to 15-20. These stovkings are easy to use and work very well. You have to be careful not to snag them, but overall a great product.

It does not fit me right and it is silk and compress my feet good enough for my illness
I was not sure it is for women and not men.I couldn’t use them till now thinking to return it because they do not fit me and don’t help me for squeezing my swollen feet and legsThanksHilal

Newbie to compression stockings
Nasty edema in one foot/ankle sent me hunting for knee-length open-toed compression stockings. Looked at EVERYTHING available, and kept on running into the name Sigvaris in the comments, as in "Well, they're not as good as Sigvaris" and "These are nice and cheap but I'm used to Sigvaris quality." Hmm. Ordered these -- and now I know what everyone is talking about. I figured it would take a week or two to get used to wearing them, but they were comfortable right out of the package. It's the morning after my first afternoon of use and my bare foot swelling is reduced by easily fifty percent. Don't get PRICE mixed up with COST, friends. These are worth every penny.

More like a regular kneehigh.
These compression stockings are nice because they look more like nylons than some compression stockings but still get the job done. Cheaper through Amazon than a medical supply store.
