Effective in the kitchen!
Smells earthy and smoky, not sure if that is the way it’s supposed to smell but we got used to it quickly as it comes across as a natural smell. And oh wow, it has revolutionised cleaning in the kitchen- it is an effective and gentle cleaning product both for dishes and kitchen surfaces. Really good in cutting through grease and oil, and foams well. Our kitchen is squeaky clean and I no longer worry about chemicals. I know that palm oil is not very earth- conscious so I may go for a palm oil version if I can find such product for a reasonable price. Nevertheless, this soap is a beauty and recommended step up from chemical wahing up detergents!

Cracked within a week.
Update.After contacting the seller, they were superb and we reached an arrangement. Hopefully it was just a bad batch on this occasion.Great customer service!Thank youI've used these French style soaps for years, usually bought from an online specialty retailer. They happened to be out of stock so I ordered on Amazon via this vendor. The quality is either not as good or I've been extremely unlucky here as the soap is splitting within a week. No doubt soon I'll be left with split fragments of soap, not the robust cube I'm used to.

Smokey and Smoothing
I'm happy with this soap. I use it to wash dishes. It removes grease very well, though I have to say it leaves a patina on the steel, which is something I can get away with. Overall I can't complain. I also like the smoky smell of it.

Best soap ever
Lovely soap, I wash everything with it, including my babies, leaves skin feeling really soft I love it. I have been to France many times and seen the French women hand washing grass stain out of their children's white trousers, often wondered why they would hand wash something s bad as grass stains with soap now I know their secret. The olive oil smells great, not overpowering.
