Bought a Moen bidet at Costco and after trying it with two different fill valves the accompanying T adapter still leaked. With a little research I found this was a commonly defective part. I tried using Moen's product inquiry page but received no response. Anyway, I ordered the Leak-Stop valve and my problem was readily resolved.

i purchased this t adapter to replace the t adapter came with Lux Bidet 120 after reading lots of positive reviews.after receiving it, i was anxious to put it in so i can use the bidet. well, first try, it still Leaks! tried again with the Teflon, tighten little harder, still leak! frustrated, I wanted to return this and the bidet all together....then I read 1 of the review, saying he swapped out the washer and replace with the cone shape adapter that came with the bidet. wow that worked perfectly. Now I got the working bidet. I took 1 star off due to the washer issue. Wish they could send both normal washer and the cone shape washer.

I purchased my home 7 years ago and since then I have done 95% of my own Plumbing I've replaced hubs for my in-ground sprinkler system. Removed and replace my dishwasher removed and replaced my garbage disposal I have removed and replaced toilets, so I decided to install my own bidet. I figured this was a 30 minute task seeing that I got a simple model with hot water. While looking up and researching the bidets I came across this adapter decided it was not needed. Fast forward 2 weeks later with a constant leak in my master bathroom to the point where I had to shut off the water to the toilet because NOTHING, I did could get rid of a leak from the toilet tank to the first connection of the water line. At my wits end I went back in my Amazon account and found this adapter that I had saved for later and ordered it. I did take heed of the reviews that warned the cone washer is not in this adapter so I supplied my own cone washer and in three and a half minutes my leak issue was GONE, this adapter is super easy to install and it is exactly what is needed to make sure you have a secure leak free installation of your new bidet.

Liked the ease of use

I tried some other T-valves, and they didnt work. Most are from China where the thread standards must be slightly different. They dont quite fit the threads of American Toilets, and can actually strip your plastic toilet pipe. This one thread perfect. Also, the others have metal nuts with not much threading. This one has a plastic head, that threads very deep into the toilet. Its a good quality valve, it is super smooth when turning on to off. This was the only one I tried that actually worked.The only drawback, is that the part that screws to the toilet is plastic, which is fine, but has a flat washer. A plastic connector like this should have a cone washer. That is the reason so many reviews mention leaking. I just took a cone washer from an extra toilet water hose I had, and put it on top of the washer already in the valve. Also, make sure the washer in the valve is completely seated before installing.

I got this hoping it would fix a leak that sprung when I moved my GenieBidet between apartments.At first I thought the leak was due to some kind of fitting incompatibility with the new plumbing, and was dismayed when I realized the replacement was the exact same part that came with the bidet.However, it DID fix the leak, and what's more, looking closely between the two showed me that I probably could have repaired the other one.What had caused the leak in the old adapter was a small dent in the metal face of the diverter where it interfaces the ballcock gasket. It's possible it fell and hit something during disassembly, or it might have been water erosion from an undetected pinhole leak before, or it might have hit the screw threads of another piece of plumbing in the box during the move.Either way, looking carefully at the two I realized I probably could have just ground and sanded the old one down smooth instead of dropping a fair bit of money on this replacement.

I bought 3 different t-adapters on Amazon and was really frustrated because they all leaked somewhere. Saw this product recommended in one of the reviews and gave it a shot. So far so good!The plastic nut really helps connecting to the toilet fill valve, same style as the 7/8 toilet supply hoses, it’s such a simple design change but this appears to be the only one available on the market with a plastic nut.The 7/8 intake opening seems to be small -it’s actually two small holes as opposed to a big opening but I didn’t notice any significant slowness in filling the toilet tank.

Great upgrade for our bidet seat. The plastic T that came with the seat was quickly cross threaded, then wouldn’t seal. This all metal one is the best I could find & was easy to install.

The bidet I bought came with a metal T-adapter but it was cross-threading with the plastic toilet fill valve and it would leak no matter what I do. I installed this and there were no leaks!! I highly recommend this product if you are having the same problem.

Quality and price are very good. Arrived promptly. Not sure how the feature to prevent accidentally turning it on (child proofing) is engaged.
