The 45ft rods worked for me when nothing else would!
Had to get through a bunch of insulation and this did the trick. A few rods broke, but not a big deal as the 45 foot comes with a lot of them and i was only going 25 foot to install a ceiling speaker.

Nice Rod, bad storage
The clear storage tube that is clearly shown in the picture will not be part of what you receive. You will get a sturdy cardboard tube that is nearly impossible to get the ends back on because the rode themselves will interfere.Rods themselves are 5 star, -1 star for false advertising.

No Glow
This equipment does not glow, does not fluoresce, and does not react to UV light.Other than that, it works ok.

Specialty tool
The rods are thin but as an electrical contractor these saved my time and money! Cable installers/electricians/plumbers this is an inexpensive tool you may use only once a year...but it will more than pay for itself.

Good pricing for the length but too flimsy...for the length
It's a budget option compared to the fiberglass rods at home depot and lowes, and they're more segmented to, I assume, help with shipping costs. This leads to weak points in the brass connections as others have mentioned, but also, it's effectively useless after say 15 feet if you're trying to move horizontally, unsupported, as the rods are wayyyy too flexibile. If you're going horizonitally this works as 3x 15ft segments, but not as a 1x 45 foot segment. I didnt really use this vertically in wall cavities so maybe it's better suited there, with it has more support and it can be segmented more.
