Low fan setting is ACTUALLY low (For men - this is the one!)
I know this isn't what most folks look for in a hair dryer, but for me it was very difficult to find a dryer that had an actual low fan speed setting. I use it to dry/set my hair a certain way, and almost every dryer I tried just blew my hair into oblivion regardless of the setting used. This one, the low speed is actually very low and soft - which is perfect for what I need. The high speed is still strong, although I never use it.

Good hair dryer- one downfall
Great hair dryer. I have thick, medium long hair and this dries it quickly and quietly. Unfortunately, the cord is REALLY short and I have to constantly push the plug back in or it will pull itself out of the wall.

Used it all of one time.
I got this dryer to replace my Bed Head Pump Up the Volume dryer, which I loved but which they appear to have stopped making. I previously had a Hot Tools dryer which worked very well, so I figured I'd go back to them, and as someone with fine/thin hair it was nice to have an option that wasn't ionic.Unfortunately, I got just one use out of this dryer. Today, the second time I would have used it, I plugged it in to the same outlet as yesterday (the same outlet I plug everything else into with no problem) and the small red light on the plug started blinking. The dryer would run for a few seconds before the safety button popped out and the dryer shut off.Thinking it might've been an outlet issue, I plugged it into a different one in the bathroom. Same thing. Okay, maybe there's moisture in there? So I tested it in another outlet in the hall, about 10 feet away. Same thing. Tried it in my bedroom. Same thing. This dryer doesn't seem to want to work anywhere. And of course, the little instruction booklet doesn't mention this particular problem - all it says is that if it stops running, to clean the lint trap. I used it one time. There's nothing IN the lint trap. So, back to Amazon it goes, and I'm back on the hunt for a dryer that isn't going to make me look like I'm in the Seinfeld episode with the bad shower heads.

Cord is very short
It works really well, but the court is very short.

~~Finally a hair dryer that I like!~~
My old hair dryer bit the dust after lasting 15 plus years. Of course there was no possiblitly of finding another one and even when I looked at the same brand and tried one out I wasn't happy with the product. I bought and returned 3 hair dryers because I wanted something similar to the last dryer.I have fine hair so I wanted a dryer that had a lower speed which this one does, it has 2 speeds plus a cold blast button. I also wanted a dryer that has a cold setting to start the blow drying process, which once again this one does. It has 3 temperature settings, a warmer setting and then a hot setting. I needed a diffuser and I like this dryers diffuser becasue the tips are rubber which is quite unusual so its almost like a massage for your head. And last but certainly not least I wanted a hair dryer that was quieter, not so loud so it's heard throughout the house. Of all of the dryers I tried out this one is definately the quietest!! It also seems fairly lightweight to me. The only negative I have with this appliance is that the power buttons are on the outside of the handle which seems odd because they should be on the inside where you finger tips are when using the dryer. All in all though I would highly recommend this hair dryer. Fingers crossed it lasts as long as my last dryer!

Quiet but didn’t last over a year
I’ve had this less than a year, and while it is very quiet compared to others, it is going out. It recently started to smell like it was burning and emitted smoke at my last attempt to use, so I’m done with it. I also use it almost daily, for perspective, and do keep the filter cleaned.
