Newest Z Tactical Comtac II Tactical Headset Noise Reduction Electronic Sound Pickup Safety Ear Muffs with Microphon

These are the ZTAC Peltor Comtac II copy. They worked great with my Baofeng and military PTT. They amplified surrounding sounds and shut out flashbangs and loud noises. Are they comparable to $600 Peltors, no. Are they an amazing value and fully functional, yes! These fit under an ACH as designed.

I test fitted these comtac headset on, and feels great. Just like the 3M Peltors, looks great, feels good. I haven’t actually tested it yet on any radios yet, I will soon. So far real good. Good for what I’m working with.

Not tons of sound supression at only18dB, but going to add gel earcups. Works great with my Baofeng uv5r with a ztac U94 PTT. The speaker volume goes as loud as I want and the mic output is pretty clear. For hunting hogs with some comms this will be great!

So they worked perfectly fine when I first got them, but after using them very few times they stopped working completely, I turned them off and could not turn them back on. They were fairly comfortable aside from the actual headband, I don't know if I'd recommend these just because they broke so soon and apparently so easily when I didn't really run them in anything more extreme than few range trips and testing with a radio. Great for comfort but the actual use is shotty at best unless I just happened to get a faulty pair. They felt like decent quality and worked fine when they did work, cancelled out louder noises fine and still allowed voice and radio to work in a reasonable manner, however they did stop working just randomly and I have not been able to get them to work again no matter what I've done.

I bought this item as a “cheap” headset/mic for airsoft. What an overstatement! Attempted to use with Armourwerx U94 PTT, and terrible all around. Poor sound quality, ambient noise pickup, noise reduction and mic transmission quality.One star because (well that's the best I can do) customer service had replacements for both sent out within 2 days... and neither worked. Even gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to mix and match the 4 pieces to no avail. Would not attempt another product from either company.

The build is absolute garbage one of the pads and 3/4 connectors for the strap broke within 30 seconds of taking it out of the box. The electronics are solid but I would not trust it to block a gun shot. I can repair most of the damage with some super glue and set of arc rail adapters but if you need anything other than airsoft comms don’t buy these and even then earmore offers a better product for the same price on evike.com or $20-30 more at other vendors. I will not be buying another set of these.

It does have a good noise reduction for shooting and can pick up chatter better then your average actfire headset, everything hooked up nicely and I can receive coms through my baofeng just fine, but the mic is the lowest quality item about the headset. Been told my com out is staticky and hard to understand without yelling

I was excited after reading the reviews so I went ahead and ordered them. Tested them when they arrived and they worked fine. BUT the first time I took them out into the field, the mic did not work anymore. I ran them through several different radios and PTT’s and the problem continued. I’m not unhappy with the overall performance of them. Just EXTREMELY upset the the mic stopped working!!! Would like the seller to replace the mic or the entire unit.

Works fine a far, microphone is quite quiet and noise cancellation is a tad slow but the headset works and it looks great, just like a comtac which is 6 times more expensive.

Comfy work well and clear sound
