First impression on opening the package:this tent was a good size tent (inside dimension about 4'x6'), very comfortable space for 2 adults and 1 small kid.I also liked that I could open up the back side.Opening the tent:The poles were very stiff and strong as they were housed inside some semi-stiff ABS tubing. Be very careful no one is too close to the tent when you let the tent open up so no one gets injured as the poles will bounce around with some good force.Closing the tent:This turned out to be a bit challenging. Unlike the other tents that have bare steel poles, these poles were very stiff with the ABS tubing housing on the outside. I felt as if it's almost impossible to twist and turn the poles when closing the tent. I almost gave up. Then finally I managed to twist the poles and criss-cross them to form an 8, then folded down the top circle to the bottom and closed the tent.The way you do it is to hold each side of the poles at the midpoint by each hand, and move one of your hands to the other side with both arms stretched straight and firmed up.It will take some strength to do this. But once you're able to move one side of the pole over you can twist it and form the 8. Folding down the top circle would then be straightforward.If you want an easy twist to close a tent this is not the one you want. If however you're strong and once you figure out how to do it, it will only take 2 minutes to close the tent.I felt like the poles are going to break as I had to apply a good amount of force to twist the ABS tubing. Will post an update later if the pole housing would hold up well after use.

This was soooooo much easier than my old one where you unfurled it and then had to run the poles you had unfolded through the holes all while in the beach wind. This unfolded and set up in minutes. The only thing I wish was different was putting the ropes on to attached to the hooks that go in the sand. I figured out to make a loop to run it through but when taking it down I was afraid to leave them on to pack so it took me awhile to unhook them again. They held in the wind though! I didn’t have replace one all day like my old tent. Folding it up took a little thinking, but once you look at the illustrations exactly it folds right up. We had a play tent that folded up in a similar way. I also like that it has a back zipper so when the sun switches or you need a breeze you can open it up. I also got a good deal by buying the off color one which was a bonus because I could see mine in a sea of tents and umbrellas and it was damaged packaging but looked fine!!

I wanted to like this product so much. The first one I purchased was broke as soon as it arrived. I ordered a second (Amazon's customer service is wonderful) and that one came broken also but in a different way. (Both having to do with the tent poles) It all has to do with where the pole connects to the pole holder. I think they need to use a higher grade plastic because this one is weak and snaps under the pressure of the pole's bend.

The poles broke the first time. Also, they are springy, so it was quite dangerous when they broke because of the tremendous torque. I am just happy nobody's eyes were taken out by the sharp broken point flying through the air. Assuming the seller would respond and replace or send parts, the return window expired, so I was left with this garbage with no refund. I let the seller know right away and never heard back. I've heard from other users that their poles broke as well.

Love this, pops right up step by step picture instructions. I would of given 5 stars but one of the carrying straps already tore and I have to sew it back but tent is perfect. 4 people fit nice 3 has more room. Perfect for beach.

Over all its a good product, I wish the price was better or materials.We use it at the beach and park on a regular base.Its in my trunk all the time.

hard to refold

I love this product. I bought it for my family and we used it on the beach. It is very easy to use and fold.
