Q: My system will only seem to accept 5 digit codes. How many digits do the pre installed codes have?

We typically ship 26Bit which is contain five-digit numbers.

Q: Do these have the legend sheet that links the serial id on sticker to the unique internal 5 digit code?

You may be referring to the "cross-reference sheet". This is not needed, as the number printed on the outside is the number encoded on the inside when purchased from ID ENHANCEMENTS, INC.

Q: Are these a good replacement for hid prokey ii keyfob 1346?

Yes, the ProxKey II was discontinued. This is the direct replacement.

Q: is the proxy key fob water proof ?

So far as I can tell from using them, they're sealed, but I wouldn't recommend sustained immersion. Probably water *resistant* if you drop it in the bath or get it wet in the rain.
