Exceptional
I used this to cut some FROZEN steak and it did the job well. Definately good as a cleaver and for most things in the kitchen. Looks a bit garish and the red tends to clash in a kitchen where most things match but my knives are always picked for performance over look. This sharpens well with a steel and then a ceramic rod.

Not what you'd expect
This is nothing like how a Chinese chefs knife is meant to be, it's pretty much just a western butchers cleaver with a, weak and Asian (somewhat) style handle.The blade is far too thick.It's the least sharp knife I have ever bought.The handle is not great with lots of gaps for food etc to accumulateNothing special whatsoever to justify the 2x and 3x the price of the other Chinese chef's knives on here.
