HONBAYU Shaped Sectional Sofa Convertible Couch with Double Chaises 4 Seat Sofa with Two Ottomans, Velvet Green

I gave it a couple weeks before writing a review so I could give an honest accounting so here we go!Arrival & Assembly:When this couch came it took all of about an hour for one person to assemble, instructions were clear and concise. If you are like me and like to reinforce potential weak points in the build, you will be happy to know that there are only two points easily made better which are 1. The connection joining the two couch sections (upgraded to a thicker bolt) and 2. The legs (well made plastic but plastic nonetheless) which are easily traded out for any number of replacements to better suit personal aesthetics/height concerns. Just make sure you get a total of 16 legs (8 for the couch itself and eight for the ottomans)Materials:My wife and I both have occasional sensory issues surrounding touch. If you likewise suffer from this then you will understand and if you don't its quite hard to adequately explain. BUT! Despite some trepidation, we were pleased to find that the material of the NON-velvet version, which we got in the navy blue color, is actually quite pleasing to the touch, able to feel both soft but also durable and easy to cleanThe cushions themselves feel soft but very supportive. I've seen people describe them as firm or even hard but that's NOT a fair description. These cushions are built such that, as time goes on, I don't anticipate the kind of ugly flattening you often see with "soft" cushions. The ONLY (and I do mean only) critique is with the backrest cushions which, while completely adequate, can feel a bit thin. The beauty is that, because the covers are removable, I spent about 40 bucks at walmart getting a memory foam mattress topper and, after some trimming/cutting out, I was able to slide in the additional material and the finished product is what you see in my main picture. This, of course, is a matter of personal preference and is definetly not manditory like with other couches!Height, measurements, stabilityThis couch sits as high as any typical couch that doesnt have high, or ornate legs. Of course this is easily adjusted as previously mentioned. The measurements are true to description and find the sweet spot between being compact enough to fit almost anywhere and being BIG enough to seat almost anyONE comfortably. This is especially apparent when you move both ottomans (which have a really ingenious method of locking into place) to one side. When we do this both my wife and I can lay one behind the other without having to move the backrest cushions which is really nice for movies!Summary/TL:DRThis couch is an incredible buy and the manufacturer knocked it out of the park! Built to last and easily reinforced/upgraded if one chooses, comfortable and well proportioned, this couch definitely punches well above its weight price-wise. You won't be disappointed!(And, as evidenced by my second photo, kitty approved 😉)

This couch was the perfect choice for my first time buying furniture, and I couldn’t be happier! It was very cost-effective without sacrificing quality, which was exactly what I was looking for. The setup was incredibly easy—it took me less than 30 minutes from unboxing to having it fully assembled. No tools required! It's comfortable, looks great, and fits perfectly in my space. The couch is also easy to move around and the quality of the fabric is great. If you're new to buying furniture or looking for an affordable option, I highly recommend this couch! Great value for the price!

First of all I want to say that the customer service from this company is the BEST! I contacted them about an issue on the weekend and the response time was phenomenal.Pros for the sofa; the color is beautiful and the material is nice as well. The longer cushions are pretty comfortable and well made. The dogs fits well in a smaller living room and very versatile in the setting arrangement. It was easy to assemble and I put it together by myself in about 30 minutesThe cons;The smaller cushions are pretty wrinkled and do not seem to want to come back from being compressed for shipping. I don’t think the couch would hold up to a lot of weight or constant use. The frame is smaller wooden pieces that seem a bit flimsy. The cushions are a bit hard but are ok for me as I didn’t want a super soft couch that is hard to get up from.Overall the sofa is worth the price I paid.

This couch is absolutely amazing. It arrived in 3 boxes and was very easy to put together. Everything is in excellent shape and it’s so comfortable. I was worried it wouldn’t be and I needed something that had a good amount of cushion and this is perfect. It also fits our household of 7 easily. Well worth the money and more.

Cushions are extra firm. The fabric is soft and very beautiful though. It’s good for the price, but it doesn’t truly look like the photos.

This couch is honestly perfect for small spaces like my apartment, it’s comfortable and was easy to put together it’s really just the perfect baseline for you to style and do whatever you want with like in my picture just go to Walmart pick a color you want to add as an accent and get some throw blankets and throw pillows and you have a whole vibe it really doesn’t take much! I was super skeptical of this couch at first too because of the price and the bad reviews but I’m honestly glad I took the risk and ordered because I really do love this couch and couldn’t be happier with my decision!

We have 2 dogs and a 2 year old, we desperately needed a new couch but I could not bring myself to spend $1200 dollars minimum for a new couch from anywhere else. So this couch was the best choice for us. It is so comfortable, seems surprisingly durable for the cost. VERY easy to put together. I love the soft velvet feel. Its easy to wipe off pet hair, I also love that we can arrange it in many different ways. The back of the couch naturally tilts back slightly, but not too much.I'm in love with the dark shade of green as well.

I have a small apartment living room so I needed something that would fit and not take up the whole room. This couch works great for the size and so far seems sturdy. I weigh 350lbs and 5’10” so we will see how it holds up. It was easy to put together and didn’t take long for cushions to breathe all the way to be fluffy. I was surprised that all 3 boxes came same day in like 3/4 days. I hope I at least get 6 months out of the couch without breaking down prior due to the construction of the couch. I will update down the road on how the couch works out.
