Arctic Ice Ultra Ice Brick, 5 lb, Blue

I used to have access to unlimited ice for my coolers. Now that I don't have that, I've been trying different ice alternatives. I've found that these are much more convenient and I don't spend as much time cleaning up after use.This 5# brick does a great job of keeping drinks and food cold during day trips. I got this size because it fit well in my cooler.I highly recommend the Arctic Ice Ultra Ice Brick. Convenient and it does the job well.

Wow - I was looking for a way to check frozen food on a plane to be sure that it stayed solidly frozen. I bought two of these puppies and packed them with frozen meat and pasta in a hard side suitcase for a 6 hour door to door trip. It took them almost two days to thaw completely out after I got to my destination. The airlines will only take ice/ice gel packs if they are solidly frozen, and I'm sure my bag probably sat on the tarmac also for some time in 100 degree weather. They are great!

Bought two and alternated one in the morning and evening.Each one kept a very large water jug ice cold for hours. One night I forgot to alternate and when I checked it after 24 hours, the block was still frozen about 80% still ice. These things are incredible for the price you pay. Plus cleaning them was really easy. Just have a decent sized cooler because they are deceptively large.

Stays cold long time

This is my third block to purchase. They are great when making day trips to the city once a month and keeping perishables cold while running errands. I also use them in the boat and when hunting. Takes about 3 days to lose their cold even in the south Texas heat.

Big chunk when frozen. Takes a long time to get it frozen solid. Doesn't stay frozen solid that long compared to my igloo,lifoam or rubbermaid products and they also freeze quicker. But it' comes in a bigger size. That's why I thought it would be good. Now I'm not too sure about that. A 2 L pop bottle filled with water and frozen lasts longer before thawing completely.Edit: after more time with product even though it thaws quicker than others it also has the capacity to completely or partially freeze bottled water that's being chilled by it. I don't get that performance with the other products mentioned nor with ice. I thought it deserves another star from my original assessment. Maybe a five star if it were cheaper.EDIT: dropped the price 5 bucks . 5 star now

Just the right size to put at the bottom or sides of the cooler and the two handle cutouts made it much easier to deal with when arranging cooler contents. I'm getting two more! Past plastic ice bricks I've had get deformed bulging that prevent stacking in the freezer so they slip and slide all over. Most ice bricks an odd size but these are just right to cover whole bottom of most coolers.

This thing was in a cooler for 4 days in +25 ontario weather and was still rock solid and ice cold. The drinks that sat on it actually froze to the ice pack. Highly recommend putting these on the top of bottom of coolers to keep stuff frozen or cold.

Awesome product. The sealing of the cap could be done cleaner and the weird side handles would be better replaced by one up top.There was some residual plastic melted roughly around the cap. An aesthetic and possibly a cleanliness problem, but I would still buy it again.

Very large for the price and works great. I use it in the bottom of a powered cooler to handle the gaps between when i do or don’t have power. This includes being in my truck all day or going of grid camping etc. Works perfect keeping a good size cooler cold.

Nice and solid, no need to worry about the plastic breaking.

literally freezes things touching it. Stayed frozen in my yeti in middle of summer for about a week. Worth the money
