Rokenbok ROK Blocks

I am well pleased with the product. It will be a gift for grandson. I am certain it will be a hit. It shipped well also was packaged extremely well.

so expensive and don't like the fact that you can only buy it thru their factory! individual pieces are not worth it and the whole set is way too much money

Our first exposure to the wonderful world of Rokenbok,began 5 years ago when our oldest child was three. We wandered into what became our favorite toy store, they had a Rokenbok interactive display. It was the ROK Works Construction & Action Set that puts you in control of cool little vehicles.You can move the balls from one contraption to another, what fun! My husband and I had never seen anything like it. We both agreed we would love to have one when we were kids. We purchased our son's first set just a year later and WOW was it a hit. It helps with fine and gross motor skills, allows kids to be creative and inventive.Since then we have purchased several ROK block sets!! I am constantly amazed at what my boys can create! These are better than other interlocking blocks because they are so much more verstaile. We always give Rokenbok as gifts too, we love all their products. They are also durable and have stood the test of time with 3 very busy little boys.

I've been a fan of Rokenbok for 13 years. I first bought the starter set for my grandson who was 5 at the time. Over the years, we've added numerous parts - like the monorial, and the tower, and numerous trucks. Then, when he was 8, his mother has twin girls (who are now 11). They absolutely loved playing with his Rokenbox. Matter of fact, he and his dad use to play for hours with the different roads and balls.... When his sisters started playing with the set, one of the controllers broke. They were heartbroken. So I contacted Rokenbok and explained that the controller had broken. "Not a problem" said the customer service representative, "we'll send another one out to you by UPS for free." "Free!" I said. "Yes, for free - Rokenbok is guaranteed for life."Since then I have purchased Rokenbok for my great nephews and neices. I recommend them to all the people I know with young children. So when they asked me to review the ROK Blocks, I said certainly! I have a granddaughter who is 6 who would love to play with them.When the box arrived, my granddaughters - who are 11 - opened the box and guess what. They've been playing with them all week-end. They said "These aren't for little kids, we love them." They built numerous towers and trucks and even a rolling office building with an elevator.So I highly recommend ROK Blocks. They're a great learning tool as well.

I love building toys and these are some of the best building products on the market. I work on the toy industry and I take a particular interest in the research end of toys. As parents, the products we "invest" in for our children make a huge difference in the people they become. It's not just about playing - it's about developing skills to take with them to go on and have success later in life. Research shows children who play with building blocks are better problem solvers, display more creativity and achieve higher verbal and math scores. Rokenbok has really hit the nail on the head with Rok blocks. Here's a great building block that a three year old can start with, but as he/she gets older, they can add to their collection with more intricate creations. The level of play is endless. Way to go Rokenbok!

I've never been a fan of preschool interlocking blocks. They're just boring because kids can't do much with them but stack them into a tower. But, our three and four-year-old make fun toys out of ROK Blocks all the time. Airplanes, trucks and helicopters for our son, and ponies and doll houses for our daughter. My husband loves playing with these blocks too, and it's great to see a toy that gets him engaged with the kids.

My wife's a preschool teacher and we bought a bunch for her class and the things these kids can create with these blocks just blows my mind. Most pre-school blocks are so boring and all you can do is build a wall essentially. With Rok Blocks the kids were building airplanes, helicopters, trucks... I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great preschool aged block.

My twin sons love Rokenbok! We've been fans for years so when I saw the new blocks for preschoolers I had to get some for my nephews. Rokenbok has probably provided the most hours of fun for my kids of any of their toys. They love to build entire worlds in the living room. Sometimes they mix in their wooden blocks and Lincoln Logs too. It's been a great toy and I highly recommend it.
