Nice complete set of non-marring drift punches
Great set of drift punches. All the right sizes for most of my bench work. Non-marring to finished metal. Rigid enough to move most objects. Very pleased.

Good for tapping and finishing pins without marring but won't drive dovetails for gunsmithing.
I do like that these are non-marring but they have very little driving power. I will keep them for tapping flush and finishing roll pins without marring. I was unable to get any movement on dovetail sights with these nylon punches. After about a half hour of pounding, I switched to traditional steel punches which moved the sights immediately although they did leave slight marring marks and I had to use a blued finishing marker to touch up the finish. I suspect that the nylon material dampens the blow substantively in higher power strikes than the metal punches and that is why the nylon punches are not able to drive in high friction applications.
