Don't try to drive these with an Allen key
I used these for repairing a table with removable legs. These inserts are quite brittle and very liable to split. Don't try to use the hex socket to drive them in with an Allen key - they will split for sure.Instead, drive them in with a short M10 screw, then they will work fine.

It is what it is, I had the flange ...
It is what it is, I had the flange shear off on a couple of the ones I've used so far, but once you know that's going to happen, then you take it a bit easier when winding it into the drilled hole.Once it's in though, its not coming out in a hurry, and a 10mm nut screws in and out with ease.

Did a good job for me
Exactly as described and worked very well. Just wished I could have bough the 4 I required and not 20 in a a packed. Still a few spares may be handy.
