It works well.

Helps detangle my 4c hair and also notice brings out my natural curl patterns. I have to wet my hair to get a comb through it but since using this product line it’s become much easier and more manageable. The product isn’t heavy and my hair retains more moisture and it’s softer. I’m old school so I still use a bit of grease on my scalp and ends. I’m not into the bone straight hair. Give me a flip and some feathers and I’m done. I finally found a product line thanks to the help of my beautician Racheal in Houston TX, this really works for me.

Excellent product! This detangling conditioner really works. It leaves your hair soft, shiny and tangle free. When I used it on my hair, the comb glided right through. I also like that this product has no strong fragrance, I almost don't even notice it at all. (I'm sensitive to a lot of the heavily scented products. They turn me off) I have tried several products in the As I Am line: Hydration Elation, Twist Defining Cream, Double Butter Cream, Coconut CoWash and Leave in Conditioner. I love them all! I have been natural for about 1 1/2 years. I've been on a quest to find the best products for my hair type (4a, 4b). I've tried a lot of products and spent a lot of money. Many of the products I tried wind up in a box in my basement. Either I hate the smell or the product just doesn't work well for me. I think I'm going to stop looking now and just use As I Am products. They are a little pricey, but they're worth it. (the ingredients in each product are top notch) My hair is in good condition, shiny, soft to the touch and growing fast. I started out with about 4 to 5 inches of new growth after I cut out my relaxer.(it was 18" before cutting). Hopefully, I can regain my length and maintain the health of my hair using As I Am. The first time it arrived, the pump had product on it that made me question if it had been used. So I re-ordered this time the top was loose and product was coming out.Other than those issues I love the As I Am Detangling Leave-In Conditioner, it does exactly what it says, detangles your hair after the conditioner.

Smell reminds me of like a plastic doll? a little goes a long way. Got the shampoo, conditioner and leave-in. My curls are soft and moisturized

Makes my Afro hair easier to work with, particularly on wash days

I use this product every day and it smells like coconut. But this bottle smelled like car fuel. I’m afraid to use it and I will never buy it from this place again

This is a great moisturizing detangler and detangling my thick hair and daughter's thick is so much easier and less painful.
