Nice watch at a decent price
I have an Amazfit T-Rex2 watch. The band broke on it, after having been replaced not even one year earlier. Anybody who has one of these knows how difficult the bands are to replace. I decided not to try that again, and after some searching, decided to purchase an Amazfit Balance. So far I am very happy with this purchase. The watch is stylish and has many improvements over the T-Rex 2, not the least being a band that is simple to replace. It is easy to navigate the various screens, and there are more features. The watch is very functional, and intuitive. There are plenty of watch faces. I like the exercise tracking, the gps and compass. For the money this seems to be a good quality and good performing watch. If you are seeking a new smart watch that is affordable, stylish and functional this might be the watch for you.

Great value for money
The watch looks stylish and classy. It comes with a full set of features, especially for health and sleep tracking. The ZEPP app is very easy to use. There are plenty of sports modes available, and I was pleasantly surprised to even find badminton included, which I play regularly. For strength training, the watch can actually recognize the exercises you’re doing. Battery life is outstanding: with all sensors on (but without GPS), I only lose about 50% in 7 days. The only thing missing would be a sapphire glass, but at this price, it’s an absolute no-brainer!

Great deal for a quality wrist piece!
I must say, I was not planning on buying a smart watch because who needs it right? I mean, we have our phones that take care of everything for us. At the request of my doctor after suffering a heart attack, I relented and purchased this device and am I ever glad I did. Stylish and easy to use even for a tech idiot like myself. Very easily paired to my phone, takes my calls and texts, and gives me all the health benefits my doctor wanted me to keep an eye on. The battery on this is out of this world! I charged it the day I got it, here I am 2 weeks later and I had to charge it for the first time. Phenomenal. I looked at other watches that costs more money, but does less than this one. For the money, you can't beat this deal. Works as well, if not better than Samsung or Apple at a fraction of the cost. Haven't tested out the waterproof function, but its rated to be waterproof and with the quality fell of this watch, I don't doubt it. Spend more for a Samsung or an Apple to get a name, or save a few bucks and get something that rivals the big 2! Definitely recommend this watch to anyone!

Solid Fitness Watch with Great Battery Life — Just a Few Software Quirks
I waited a full year before writing this review to ensure it reflects long-term, real-world use of the Amazfit Balance. I primarily wanted a watch for activity tracking, heart rate monitoring, and basic phone notifications—not for music, calls, or texting. Previously, I used both Fitbit and Garmin devices.Build & Setup:The watch is solidly built and looks great—definitely comparable to much more expensive options like Garmin. Battery life is excellent. It paired easily with my iPhone, and setup was smooth.App Experience:The Zepp app is functional but clunky. I don’t recommend paying for the subscription services—they mostly provide vague, AI-generated insights that aren’t useful. Also, skip the paid watch faces. The WFAmazfit app offers a ton of great free options.Customization:The included fabric band wasn’t for me, but I easily swapped it out for third-party bands. Having color options is a nice bonus.Activity Tracking:I use this mainly for outdoor cycling, kayaking, and hiking. It syncs well with Strava, which has been my go-to platform for years. Once paired, workouts upload to Strava quickly and reliably.Heart Rate Monitor & Device Integration:This spring, I added a Garmin 1050 cycling computer and wanted to use the Amazfit as a heart rate monitor. Unfortunately, the integration is a bit awkward—you must enable HRM broadcast and start an activity on the watch to transmit data. This caused activity duplication in Strava, so I had to unlink Amazfit from Strava for cycling and will re-link it for other activities like hiking or kayaking. Not ideal.Final Thoughts:After a year of regular use, I confidently recommend the Amazfit Balance if you’re looking for a durable, budget-friendly fitness tracker with excellent battery life. Notifications work well, fitness tracking is accurate, and the variety of free watch faces is a nice touch. The only real downsides:• The Zepp app is underwhelming.• Heart rate monitor pairing with third-party devices like Garmin is clunky. If Amazfit improves those areas, this could easily be a 5-star product.
