Best Video Doorbell in quality and price
I recently acquired the SV3C Video Doorbell Camera Wireless with Chime, and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. This impressive device has significantly improved my home security and added convenience to my daily life.First and foremost, the video quality is exceptional. I can clearly see who's at my door with its crisp resolution, day or night. The infrared night vision is remarkable, ensuring that even in low light conditions, I get a clear view. The wireless setup was straightforward, and the inclusion of a chime further enhances its usability. Now, I never miss a visitor, and the chime's variety of melodies is a pleasant addition. What sets SV3C apart is the motion detection and real-time alerts. I appreciate the timely notifications on my smartphone whenever someone approaches my door. This feature gives me peace of mind, especially when I'm not at home. The two-way audio is a handy tool for communicating with visitors or delivery personnel, making it convenient and secure. The weather-resistant design ensures durability, and I trust it to withstand the elements. In summary, the SV3C Video Doorbell Camera has transformed the way I handle home security and visitor interactions. Its stellar video quality, easy setup, motion detection, and two-way communication make it a must-have. WORKS GREAT..EASY TO INSTALL AND USE!!
I purchased this SV3C Doorbell Camera so that I could monitor my 80yr old mother in law's front door. We have her set up with several SV3C cloud cameras so we can keep an eye on her property to make sure she's safe. I've added her as a user to the doorbell cam thru the cloud software so she can use and she loves it!The doorbell cam works great! It's simple to install and use. The simple to use interface is so importantfor the less technical seniors like my Mother in Law.I installed it with an angled spacer to get good coverage in the area where it's mounted.I am very impressed with the battery life on this thing! I didn't realize that a battery powered sec cam could last as long as this one on a single charge! Charging is super ease and I've got it set where I don't need to remove it while charging..... we don't skip a beat on the coverage and the battery life is easy to monitor in the SV3C Cloud App.The doorbell chime (mounted on the inside) is nice a loud and has many ringtone choices. No subscriptions is a great option.SV3c cloud storage is available and very affordable if you choose to go that route.Night vision is very good for a camera as affordable as this one.It has a nice wide field of view as well. You'll be very impressed with the simplicity and functionality of the SV3c Door Bell Camera. At this price it's really a no brainer.Best of luck

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever ordered
I purchased this camera originally and when it was time to charge it it wouldn’t charge… so they sent me a replacement… now the replacement one camera lens is only showing half of screen which defeats the purpose of having a doorbell camera. I will not be ordering anything else from this manufacturer again… if I could give it zero stars I would but unfortunately it told me I had to at least pick one star to proceed with the review

Surprisingly good camera.
I have a PTZ camera in the front of the house, but we wanted one exclusively for the path to the house and the door. This camera fits that purpose really well. In addition, you can place the bell in a convenient location. This is especially useful for big homes where you may not hear the fixed bell.Installing the camera was very simple, first, you fully charge it, then set it up with the app and lastly, you install it in the desired location. You need to drill two holes, the hardware to secure the base is included. After the base is installed, you just attach the camera with one screw, and the tool is included. That’s it, now to wait until someone shows up. I recommend that you install an SD card before attaching the camera. As far as functionality, everything is controlled with the app. I included some screenshots of the app showing what you can control. Some of the functions are:• Take a screenshot.• Talk to the visitor.• Hear outdoor sound.• Record video.• You can also set up motion detection and adjust its parameters. It will sound an alarm if motion is detected.• The album feature will show screenshots you have taken. The messages section will show you a list of alarms and system messages. In addition, you can subscribe to the cloud service which will provide you with additional features and benefits. Finally, I was surprised about the long battery life, I have for about a month now and the battery is still about 75-80%.I am very satisfied with the camera, it does more than what I expected. Highly recommended.

It's decent could be better
The battery life is amazing lasted a little over a month. However that's the only great thing about it. It's human detection could be a lot better even at max sensitivity it doesn't pick the person up until they are walking away. The record time is only about six seconds even if you change the length in the settings. The picture quality is good and the night vision is awesome. But again it doesn't record or alert that anybody is there until after they are walking away from your door.

Excellent quality, full featured, no contract security doorbell.... but it is very big.
There is much to like about this security doorbell:As a doorbell, it does a great job. It rings outside (our current doorbell does not so people bang on the door as well as ringing the bell). Plus it doesn't sound like everyone else's doorbell! As a security camera, it monitors outside the house. You can either use the internal (not supplied) 128gb TF card or pay for a cloud account to record all activity. You can use the APP to check what's happening any time. You can see and speak to callers (using the APP), even if you are somewhere else on the planet.Full HD colour daytime view is very good, and night vision (black and white) is clear and sharp. The APP is easy to set up and feature rich. Live view is very useful. You can record, take screenshots and one good feature that I have not tested, is to change your voice to sound differently (Good idea if you are a female home alone): Clown, Uncle and original. History (by calendar) is available and facility to view older screenshots etc. (SD Card needs to be installed). If you have additional devices, they can be added and you can also have the APP on your family members phone too.The ONLY negative is size and weight. We have a large, brand new UPVC entranceway and I am very reluctant to drill into the UPVC. I have bought 3m automotive self adhesive, but I fear it will end up smashed on the floor. However if you are able to fasten the shell to a wall, that will be no problem. For me, this is everything I want in a security doorbell...except for the size and weight.

Easy to set up
This is a door bell and security camera in 1. It's not small, but then it does have a decent sized rechargable battery.Once charged, fitted and the app downloaded it was easy to set up.I like that I can see who is ringing the doorbell from my phone and even speak to them.It is quite amusing watching people talk to the doorbell 😁.It's a good price £49.99 with £10 off voucher available at the time of writing this review. If you are wondering about getting one of these type doorbells, at this price it is worth a go.

Great video doorbell. Subscription service is an option but not required.
The media could not be loaded. It takes some set up as you have to download an app, connect to your wifi and provide permissions. Note it is 2.4G wifi only. What that meant for me, was that when I searched for my wifi I had to ignore my normal wifi option which was 5G, instead selecting my wifi that was further down the list, below my neighbours, named the same and that was 2.4G.You do need to read the instructions to get going, but once connected to the app, it pretty much takes over. It is easy to take a tour around the app and work out different options. The trickiest part for me was removing the mounting bracket. It wasn’t shown in the instructions that once unscrewed that you slide it downwards to remove from the bell.Once installation is complete it is simple to use. You can just use it as a doorbell, or easily in the App select to be notified if someone comes to your door. You can then see them on your phone and choose to speak to them if you want to. You can just turn that option off if you do not want to be disturbed. There is an option to play a pre recorded message if you want. You can even share camera access with others. Great when on holiday. Someone can answer for me and pick up my parcels. There are many ringtones, songs, film theme tunes to pick from as options. I gave up counting. You can switch on alarm mode in case someone tries to pinch your doorbell. You can set up motion detection to capture someone that comes to the front of your house and doesn’t ring the bell.It will capture small clips. But you may want to store longer videos as a security option. In which case. You can either pay for a subscription service that will allow for the storage of longer videos online, or you can simply add a memory card so movements are stored on the bell.

Charges for cloud storage
This video doorbell is pretty easy to set up, once you have their app installed and follow the instructions in the manual apart from suggesting you mess up your router's settings (see below for better advice). The video quality is pretty good even in low light, which is probably what you need most. The video doorbell looks nice and you can switch the tamper resistance on or off with the app. This makes the device behave like an alarm in its own right as well as sending you notifications via the app. The battery can't be removed without smashing the doorbell. You should only switch on the tamper alarm when you have fully installed it. There are good installation instructions, including a template to help you get your screws in exactly the right place.⚠️They do have a cloud service to store video from the doorbell for 30 days but charge £2.99 per month for the privilege. This does mean that the doorbell data is stored offsite. You cannot use an existing cloud account like Google Drive or One Drive. Video can be sent to their cloud encrypted or unencrypted. The default option is not to use encryption, which is plain dangerous, as it can potentially be intercepted. Always use end-to-end encryption when you can. There's a micro SD card slot for local recording. Again, using the encryption options make it more difficult to tamper with, but the card is still vulnerable to theft.⚠️ The device only works on the 2.4GHz band whereas most modern routers work on both 2.4 and 5GHz. Unfortunately the device can't seem to distinguish them so there is the ludicrous instruction to rename your 2.4Ghz band to something different from the 5GHz, add the device and then re-connect every other single wi-fi device that uses the 2.4GHz band because you've changed the name!⚠️ℹ️ The way around having to change and reinstall all your smart devices is simply to switch off the 5GHz band on your router for a short time while you connect the device, then switch the 5GHz band back on again. Once it's connected, there are no issues.
