Works. Nice Color.
Trust the process. It works. It looks orange, but it turns bright yellow. Just rinse it more. Great product.

Dye? You bet!
Old school dye that has existed forever. Easy to use, I’m 74 and this was my first time dying anything, just followed instructions and saved 3 pairs of shorts. They look new and beautiful navy blue.

RIT sage dye
Came out darker than sage but hue was ok.

Easy for a beginner.
Really EZ to use. I'm a first time dye=er and it worked well. Use on faded denim upholstery. I found extra instructions on line on the Rit site and other DIY sites.

Color was off.
The dye works and is easy to use but the color was not what I was expecting. It was much more blue and less of a forest green like I had thought it would be. I made tie-dye for my kids at school.

My go to
Always my go to dye. Dyed several pieces with it (and another rit dye) even dye if you follow the instructions.

Disappointed – Difficult to Get Even Color
I bought Rit dye to refresh the color on my dining chairs because the original finish was fading. I followed the instructions carefully, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to achieve a uniform color. After the process, the chairs looked blotchy and uneven, which was really disappointing. It seemed like a simple DIY fix, but it didn’t turn out as expected. Maybe it requires more experience or a different technique, but for a beginner like me, it was a bit of a fail.If you’re planning to use this product for furniture, I’d recommend testing on a small hidden area first or researching more tips on how to get even coverage.
